Failure to provide goods promised according to our agreement and refusal to refund the 50% down payment
On Jan28, I received my acknowledgement letter *** from Philippe Langdon Furniture, Incfor a four-arch StJames Collection bookcase (item # XXXXX-XX) after having sent a down payment check of $1, After one year and months and various excuses why the order was so late, the sales rep *** *** informed me in early May that Philippe Langdon would not be able to fill my order and therefore not meet their end of the agreement However, she stated Philippe Langdon would not reimburse me my $1,down payment because the company, "didn't have any money." She said I had to buy something else from them with the down payment and gave me three options, all of which I did not need in my home and would cost me an additional $out of pocket to ship The total cost for any of these items would end up being double what I would pay locally The company is ignori
