[I CALLED OTHER PLUMING COMPANY, THE NAME IS *** AND HE CHECKED THE BOILER AND FOUND THAT PELHAM DID NOT CHANGE THE ORININAL ROLL OUT SWITCH , SO *** REPLCED THE ROLL OUT SWITCH AND CLEANED THE THE BOILER FOR $ I HAVE THE BILL AND ON THE BILL HE WROTE THAT PELHAM DID NOT CHANGE THE SWITCH THIS IS Y THE BOILER WAS NOT WORKING, AND NOW THE BOILER IS WORKING FINE LIKE NEW.HE WROTE IT IN SPANISH, I WANT ALL MY MONEY BACK WITH INTEREST.Your Answer Here]

Hello, This message is in regards to the complaint filed by the owners of *** *** *** *** *** We first went to the premises at *** *** ***, on 3/**/We sent an experienced mechanic to the jobThe call came in as a call due to the boiler not startingOur mechanic found the
contacts of the roll out switch to be work on, and therefore we recommended replacing the roll out switchWe gave them a price of $plus tax to replace the roll out switchWe also explained them that the roll out switch was turning off of the boiler because of a condition with the boilerThe roll out switch is a safety device that will turn off the boiler when there is flame roll out from the burnerOne of the reasons why flame roll out occurs is due to carbonization and a dirty boiler and/or chimney, that does not allow for proper draftWe have the owners a price of $1,plus tax to clean the burner, remove the boiler jacket in order to clean the sections, and to clean the exposed chimney pipingIn order to do this work, you have to remove all of these components, clean the components, and then reassemble everythingThis is a day's work of workThey refused the $1,service and accepted only the $job to replace the roll out switchApproximately two days after we completed the installation of the roll out switch, the owners called back to say that the boiler had turned offThe same mechanic went back to check it, and he explained that he felt the boiler needed to be thoroughly cleanedThey continued to refuse the additional cost to do the thorough cleaning of the boiler and exposed chimney pipingWe agreed to do a basic cleaning of the burner trayWe did the basic cleaning of the burner tray at no charge, hoping to satisfy the customer.This cleaning of the burner tray only was not enoughThey called back again stating that the problem was with the roll out switch, stating that there was a loose wireWe sent the original mechanic back at least twice to check itEach time he tried to explain to them that the boiler was turning off due to the roll out switch sensing flame roll out. He explained that they needed to thoroughly clean the boiler and exposed chimney pipingThey did not want to pay for the cleaning.Please let me know if you have any more questions
