Phillips, Gardill, Kaiser & Altmeyer, PLLC Reviews (1)

This email is in response to your letter dated October 16, 2015. It appears the facts that you are missing is that Mrand Mrs*** are not strangers as his statement would indicate. They know me from approximately years ago when their son participated in a youth program for kids
that wanted to learn to play basketball at *** *** High School. I ran the program and Mrs*** had requested that her son be with me in practices and not with the younger coach that didn’t appear to have as much control over the kids. She and her husband also made a point to thank me on the last day of the program for the time their son had in the youth basketball program. Mr*** even reminded me of this when he called on July 6, 2015. They appeared to be very nice people. The point to this is that I am not just some person they picked out of the phone book So, indicating they only spoke to me about selling their house and indicating, “he seemed nice” is a little misleading. After responding to Mr*** with the cost of the two documents their sale and lease agreement would require, I read through his request for services a second time. His request stated, “We would really like to have this lease-to-own contract prepared and signed by everyone this week, so we can move forward with preparing the house.” After reviewing this request again, and because I had met them and wanted to help, I did the research on their real estate and prepared the documents so they could have them executed by Friday October 16. I sent the completed work to them on Wednesday October 14. You appear to have all of the correspondence. “Bullying” is a nice buzzword in the media right now that everyone likes to use. However, I don’t believe being required to pay for the services you receive is bullying Typically, clients are very appreciative when we get the requested work completed and back to them very quickly. We try to provide such service when the issue and time allows. Note that, if I walked out of the grocery store without paying I would be arrested. Mrand Mrs*** will not be contacted by our firm again. Unfortunately, every now and then law firms get customers that just refuse to pay. It is part of doing business and we generally don’t bother with trying to collect. We’ll just notate our records for future reference, because, this type of customer many times has a way of calling again and asking for services. Mrand Mrs*** will get what they requested in their “desired settlement.” We will not be contacting them for anything and their email request from October has been deleted. Please contact me with the results of your investigation. Please also respond so that I know you received my correspondence.Sincerely,*** ** ***
