The company yelled at me and then canceled for no apparent reason It was really quite incredible dealing with these people I scheduled a standard pickup through a broker who assigned it to George at Philly Express who was beside himself over who-knows-what I went through a rather strenuous process to ensure there would be no extra work for Philly Express and their whole team They threw it right back in my face Bizarre would be the best way to describe it

Review: I sold a car that was going to be shipped overseas. Philly Express Group LLC came to pick it up. Before loading onto the transporter, there was an inspection for any damage, scratches and chips and marked on the bill of lading. Many photos were taken by the driver of every scratch and chip. My car had no damage other than minor scratches and rock chips. I told the driver, the car is very low and don't think it will go up the ramps and over the wheel humps. The metal ramps drop down about 2" when a car goes over them. I told the driver two times, the ramps needed to be supported with wood. Driver said, he had some wood. Driver also claimed, he'd been doing this for 9 years. When the tires came to the metal ramps (part of the trailer), the front of the car dropped down and the nose of the car hit the ramp and cracked the fender (fiberglass body work). Driver first claimed, the car had bad shocks (dropped on unsupported ramps). I immediately ask for the inspection report and he goes to the cab to get it, and when I see it, he already added the new damage. I started to record the conversation. Driver claimed, he did support the ramps (obviously didn't). Then the driver was getting angry with me for taking photos of ramps, truck, trailer and damage. Driver admitted, if it's his fault, insurance will pay. After multiple calls to the company, driver now claims, car was damaged before he got there. I asked to show the photo of the damage "before" it went on the trailer and now company claims they don't photography cars, (all recorded). Then stated, they have a signed bill of lading showing damage and there's nothing I can do. Also, accused me of lying and trying to get car repaired and they pay. Told me, I was committing fraud and to take them to court. Philly Express Group LLC showed a complete lack of integrity.Desired Settlement: Philly Express Group should submit to their insurance and show some integrity.

Review: The Philly Express group was contracted by [redacted] to move our 2 vehicles from New Jersey to California in August. In our contract, it clearly stated that we would not be in California until August 4, and therefore would not be able to pick up our cars prior to that date. On the day of the pickup in New Jersey, the Philly Express driver notified me that he would pick up the cars between 9 and 10am. He did not arrive until 12pm. On August 3, the same driver called from California to say that he had arrived with our cars. I then told him that our flight would not get in until that evening, but if it did somehow get in at a reasonable hour, we would try to pick the cars up. We did not confirm that we would pick the cars up, and no change was made in our original contract. That evening, when we arrived in California around 11pm, I notified the driver that we would be not be able to pick up the cars until August 4, our original pickup date. He then told me he had been waiting all day for us, even though we did not confirm pickup for that day, and threatened us saying that we would now not get our cars at all. We immediately wrote to [redacted] who told us on the morning of August 4 to call the Philly Express Group headquarters to speak to the manager. When we spoke to the manager on August 4, he said that we were at fault even though the details of our contract had never changed. Furthermore, we were now being charged a $100 storage fee and would have to pick up our cars from a third party location 45 minutes away from our place of residence. We picked up our cars, and I noticed while driving away that my windshield was cracked as well - a crack that did not exist prior to the move. The following day I contacted Philly Express Group. The manager was not at all willing to hear our complaints, even though they were civilly and calmly stated, and hung up on us mid-conversation.Desired Settlement: Since Philly Express Group did not honor our initial contract, and also forced additional charges on us, we would like a refund of the $100 storage fee paid to the third party vendor on August 4, 2014. we would also like a discount on the originally contracted price based on the inconvenience and stress caused by this company.
