Philo Roofing

I have talked to multiple other roofers that have confirmed this and I have an appointment for a roofer to come out and fix the absolute mess that Philo Roofing left me with. The owner was rude to talk to from the beginning and I had serious reservations about using them but its very difficult to find available roofers. Before they even started I had asked them about putting on the rake edging on my steel roofing and that I didn't see it in his quote for repairs. His response was that he bought everything (I had given him the money to pay for materials) that was needed and would be out to do the work. Later, when he was onsite and doing the work I realized he was planning on leaving my facia hanging out even beyond the edge of my steel roof line. I questioned him about it and he got angry. I asked about putting the rake edge on and he refused to do rake edge so he bought J channel for the EDGE of my roof. When I questioned him about this he got upset and QUIT without completing the work! Did not refund any of my money which he overcharged me for materials. Other roofers have been onsite to give me bids to complete the work since he left and said he screwed up my roof. The steel he put on wasn't put on right, the overlaps weren't done correctly, he screwed up some of my facia, and one piece of my drip edge. I'd have been better off if he wouldn't have touched my roof. Overall HORRIBLE experience with a company that the owner was RUDE and clearly didn't know what he was doing.
