Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/09/28) */
[redacted]
I had spoke to [redacted] on the telephone. He is correct in that we do cover the repairs we do for any defects in workmanship. Unfortunately in...

this case it is not an issue with our workmanship, there is rust on the panel. This panel was installed over seven years ago and with our extreme weather conditions, salt, etc... It would be impossible to guarantee against this. I would certainly look at doing the repair for [redacted] at our cost if that would help.

I am confused. When calling your associates body shop, 2 weeks ago, your employer stated that if a fender would be replace the work would be warenti but not a repair of body work. My fender was replaced. You set a presedent when you repaired it the last time. You are plainly liing and deceiving to customers when having your associated workers stating warranties that you will not abid by.
How can you state FOR LIFE AS LONG AS YOU OWN YOUR VEHICLE if you don't intend to do so. Exterm weather condition, salt. Off course, your in **. You were hopping that I would not be keeping my vehicle this length of time.
Why do you thing that I selected you outfit to do the work?
Simply because you said FOR LIFE.
No I am not willing to pay for it twice.

My name is [redacted], I am the General Manager and Partner with [redacted]. I have been personally dealing with...

[redacted] and her vehicle. We purchased the Oleary dealership and it was closed down. We purchased it August 8th 2014, [redacted] had purchased her vehicle from that store about two years ago. I have worked with [redacted] and her husband to try to trade them out of the vehicle. The challenge is the lien on their vehicle being much higher than the actual value. I have the vehicle hear at our store repairing the transmission in it and have told [redacted] that I will drive it personally when it is back together to insure it is working properly for her. I do sincerely feel very bad for the experience they had at the previous dealership and I will continue to work with them to insure they get the service they
deserve.

Mr.[redacted]'s response is accurate but I see no resolution stated. We spoke by phone yesterday. Waiting for one more component to come in this morning. He will drive the vehicle, once repaired again to ensure that it works. He mentioned the option of taking the vehicle in trade. I need to see that the [redacted] has been repaired and is actually running for a any length of time, before I even consider discussion around next steps.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 17, 2015/06/01) */
I am very happy to say we have repaired the issue with the vehicle and I have been driving it since last week and it is working excellent. We also did some goodwill as well for the [redacted]'s and resurfaced their brake rotors. I am going to reach out to [redacted] today to get her back the vehicle. I certainly feel for [redacted], the experience they had at the selling dealer was not great. I will continue to work with them to insure they are satisfied.

Thank you so much,
[redacted]
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 24, 2015/06/11) */
Mr. [redacted] contacted my husband yesterday, June 10, at work, asking if I had reconsidered his offer to trade for another [redacted] vehicle. He also mentioned that the [redacted] could not be resold with the summer tires we brought up on our visit, as it most likely would not pass inspection."Someone" would need to buy four new tires. My husband and I both found this strange as we were not able to use the vehicle enough for ournew tires to become that damaged. [redacted] We do not want this vehicle back, nor do we want to purchase new tires for a vehicle which we have clearly stated numerous times that we do not want. When meeting with Mr. [redacted] 8 days ago, when asked, I did not want to take the repaired [redacted] for a test drive, as I do not want the vehicle back-do not trust it and do not feel safe in it-whether it is repaired again or not. Mr. [redacted] told us that he would try to find a [redacted] for us and that is how things currently stand. ??? We just want an end to this as does Mr. [redacted]. This has gone much too long for all involved. I will call [redacted] this afternoon to inquire again if the company could pay off what is remaining on our loan.
