Pho Lena & Grill

Review: I am finally making a complaint with the Revdex.com in hopes that this restaurant, Pho Lena & Grill, makes amends to their terrible customer service. My family and I have been patrons since their grand opening. As long as we have been patrons at this business, we have been receiving dirty looks when we ask for condiments for our takeout orders, as the staff begrudgingly supplied scant amounts of the condiments needed to enjoy their food. Our patience has run out after the issue we had with them on March 30, 2014 at around 8:00 PM. My husband ordered two orders of fried egg rolls (12ct) an one order of spring rolls (2ct). My husband asked the cashier/server, [redacted], if he could have hot sauce for the takeout order. [redacted] then proceeded to tell him that he had supplied the hot sauce in the plastic bag. Since this business has issues providing customers with condiments and in the past they have said the same, only for us to come home and find no hot sauce in the bag, my husband checked and was not surprised when he found there was no hot sauce in the bag. My husband then asked [redacted] for hot sauce and [redacted] provided him with two half-filled ramekins with the circumference of a quarter for a total of 14 rolls. My husband then asked him for more and [redacted], painstakingly , gave him two more, he then went on to say that the restaurant had ran out of hot sauce and could not give him anymore. This restaurant has hot sauce on every tabletop and continuously fills them throughout the day. My husband walked out with the order and told me about the issue that had just ensued. I called the restaurant and asked the server for his name, he evaded the question several times and there was long pauses when I asked how it was possible that they had ran out of hot sauce at a Vietnamese restaurant. [redacted] finally provided me with his name and then, as he started to laugh at me, asked me if I wanted to talk to the manager. This phone call and incident shows the way in which this business treats their customers.Desired Settlement: I would like this restaurant to re-evaluate their customer service practices and train their employees to treat customers properly. Just like a burger restaurant supplies their customers with ketchup, this business and its staff need to provide the customer with condiments as well without making the customer feel embarrassed, or making the situation awkward. As I will never again support this restaurant, I would just like an apology for putting us through such an uncomfortable situation.
