I am beyond disappointed and extremely angry at this organization. We have not only donated financially, but we also have recruited many other families to donate to them 10s of thousands every year, not to mention the amount of clothes, shoes, furniture, electronics, medical supplies, computers, baby supplies, bathing supplies, etc... And I have heard firsthand from two of their employees that their director instructed them to place all these donations into a dumpster. It is beyond DISGUSTING to see an organization that claims to help the less fortunate be SO WASTEFUL and so entitled and deceitful. My family and I have strong ties in this community, not to mention we have dear friends in the County Attorney's office and multiple consumer protection/news outlets. I will do everything in my power to make sure the word gets out on how they run their operations and expose them for who you really are. They have no business collecting goods, they then turn around and stick in the city dump. This community trusts them and they must uphold that trust. Several years ago, we had a single donation worth over $50,000 (furniture, baby items, bathing items, computers, iPads, televisions, cameras, etc.…) that was dumped and I am blown away at how disgraceful this decision was! Our family is in the medical field and made it a point to continue to donate medical supplies that could have been used by other clinics.
