*** *** P.S Your agent *** came out this week to view the missing shingles, and he took one we found in the yard to match it He said he is ordering new shingles and will be back to put them up in the missing areas (about spots) He didn't know if the shingle was in Phoenix's stock or would have to be special ordered We expect him to complete this assignment as promised to us We accept resolution once this is completed Thank you

We regret that we have misplaced our roofing receipt/contract and therefore cannot send you a copy.  We have repeatedly asked for a copy of it from Phoenix and they told us they changed computer systems and in the process, it got lost.  But that there should be a hard copy in a file in their office.  Yet no copy has ever been provided.  We do recall that the warranty on the receipt stated 20 years as it does for all roofing contractors.  We believe we had our roof replaced about 8 years ago.  Within the last 8 years Phoenix came to our house to repair water damage in our dining room that came from snow melting on the roof.  That was agent [redacted] who came about 5 years ago.  So they are familiar with us.  We have called [redacted] many times over the past 4 months, he tried to help but has moved to their TX office.  I really wish we had a copy to show to you but feel that they should definitely be able to provide us with a copy.  Thank you for your kind assistance.

The roof was completed 10 years ago, the roof is out of warranty.   Client must call another contractor to replace the shingles.

We regret we can not provide you with the necessary receipt from a project 8 years ago.  We now use an internet cloud system that records all of our transactions from 2012 and on.  Yes, your work was completed in 2010, we have no records from our clients from 2011 and beyond.  In fact, we have never been asked to produce information from clients 2011 and prior since we've started using the cloud-based system so we have had no need to keep hard copy documents from projects completed so long ago and that are not within our workmanship warrantyWe have never provided a 20-year workmanship warranty, just a 2-year or 5-year for more money.  So your roof workmanship does not fall within our warranty since it ended in at least 2015, or 2012, based on what your Phoenix representative and you agreed to. We do know that we ordered an [redacted] manufactured, Oakridge series shingle, color Desert Tan.  We did see that on our email history we ordered that product from our supplier.  These are made on the southside, Summit, IL specifically.  You can find this product in any [redacted].I just googled roof warranties and came up with this link if you would like to read it?   It states roofers generally offer 2-year workmanship warranties and the material itself is warrantied for a period of 20-years to 30-years, you material warranty is 30-years.  It only covers defects.  Here is the link http://www.roofingandroofers.com/roofing/roofing_warranties.htm
