The last one regard *** *** with accusations of her cover art being sized wrong, swag not being mailed and a press release she paid fpor, not to mention royalties owedAllow me to explain once more seeing as my last three
emails concerning Ms*** did not clarify anything it seems or went ignored She paid me $for swag items, which if not familiar are bookmarks, necklaces, basically prizes for when the author releases their bookI ordered all the items from hearts to broken hearts, chains for necklaces and bracelets, and the metal hook bookmarksI also purchased the charms, beads, and wireIn fact so wanted so many items I spent an extra $of my own money to ensure she got the best which is something I have done quite a few times with other authors. I made ten bookmarks, necklaces, bracelets, printed out posters and made a special author goodie bag for herThe day of her release I asked if she wanted me to host her release party on facebook and she declined my offerShe wanted to do it herselfI usuually host them for my authors and keep track of all prizes and mail them all outShe did not want thisShe wanted to do it because of her fan base and she also wanted to mail out her own swagSo I put the materials I had made into the mail to herBy the end of the week she said she had received them and they were beautiful Secondly, I have nothing to do with cover artThat was between her and *** ***.She said the dimensions would not work when she went to selfpublish.I do not know how to cover art or the spec for the sizingYopu can contact *** or *** Fromwhat I understood she made the artist refund the money and got someone else to do the cover and faileda complaint on her as well, which cost me a damn good cover artist.Because of *** *** that cover artist will no longer work for my authors. Lastly, there is no place in the Phoenix Fire Contract which I can email to youif needed thatstates that we pay for a press releaseIt states wepromote them to thebestof our ability, which means,facebook,blog stops,twitter,socialmediabut it is all freenothing ispaid for.And for her to ask me to refund her $bucks for something that is not even listed in the contract and that she went out and did on her own is absolutely ridculious. At the time her book had not been out but a few days maybe a week and a half at tops when it was pulledI believe that the reason behind her leaving, as she was manager, was due to the fact I brought an authorback that she did not get a long with,*** ***.And in fact we had talked about her investing into the company and becoming co-owner.As soon as *** found this out she said that things were not working out with Phoenix and that she had been a self published author for so long that she felt more comfortable it remaining that waySo, I released her and let her go
