My husband and I just recently purchased our first [redacted] in May that being said I wanted to share with you my husbands and my experience with the roadside assistance that we used with our HOG membership in September My husband had to use his HOG membership roadside assistance due to his motorcycle would not startHe called the HOG number for a tow and in return they sent out a tow truck from Phoenix Metro Towing in [redacted] When the driver came out it did not have the correct trailer set up to tow a motorcycle, which my husband questioned several times if the tools the driver was using were correct for towing a motorcycle, that being said my husband figured the tow company was contracted and sent out by [redacted] so they must have an idea of what they were doingAlso as my husband questioned, the driver got very defensive and offended and told my husband he knew exactly what he was doingAfter the driver had my husband load the [redacted] …yes he had my husband sit on the bike and loaded it on a flat bed with my husband on it, which my husband thought was very weirdThe driver strapped the bike down and gave my husband a ride homeOn the drive home my husband explained that the driver did not drive as if he had a motorcycle on his flatbed, he did not turn the corners very cautiouslyAs my husband watched his bike in the side mirror with nervousness, the driver pulled up abruptly to the house he dropped the motorcycle onto the flatbedMy husband was very livid as any motorcycle owner would beThe tow truck driver admitted fault right away and called his bossMy husband took pictures and we called our insurance right awayAs the driver was on the phone with his boss or manager…he explained they would take care of any and all damagesThe next morning my husband called the HD dealership whom kindly came and picked up the bike and towed it correctly that day and notated the damages from the towing companyI would not use this company ever again or trust them with your property, As our insurance continues to fight the towing company for payment
I called my insurance company and they sent out Phoenix Metro Towing, initially stated it would be 60 minutes. The driver actually showed up in 25 min, we had left the vehicle. He took the time to call us to advise he had arrived. His name was Joe, and let me say BEST tow driver I've had to deal with in all my life. He was courteous, respectful and he has SKILLS! We trusted him immediately, so much so that we left; and within 10 min, he pulled up with our car. We watched him park our car with one hand and lined it up straight; perfect actually with the curb. He was very friendly to my husband even offering him some advice on how to fix the car. Truly a blessing to have a driver like Joe, he is very good at what he does; would recommend Phoenix Metro Towing to anyone as long as they have Joe and other drivers like him.
