To Whom it may concern, I was looking to submit a formal complaint about a worker Leon Woodwork (or Woodward, I could not quite catch the name)This worker, after my asking simply if there was a way to pay a ticket online, starting yelling at me to just put money in the envelop, asking if I “needed my mommy to figure it out for me, if it was too difficult for me to understand”When I replied I just wanted to know if there was an online system to pay because I didn’t feel comfortable paying cash in a tiny, flimsy envelope, he responded “I don’t care how you feel! It’s not my fault you don’t understand anything”I asked the man to please stop being so rude to me, and he continued to berate me about how stupid I must be to not know how to pay a ticket- when all I asked was if there were optional ways to pay itI had other questions to ask (about the tow list, if I would get towed after days at work if my mail didn’t get in on time etc…) but I had to hang up on him because he simply would not stop yelling at meI called back about an hour later to get his name, and he groaned, did not answer and just hung up on meThis is absolutely unacceptable behavior from anybody- let alone a business I’m trying to GIVE money to! I was not trying to get out of the ticket, simply asking if there were other ways to pay itTheir phone number listed on the ticket does not lead you to an actual person to talk to, I had to dig to find this other phone number, and this whole process has been extremely difficult

To Whom It May Concern, Listed below is our response The violation notice clearly lists our phone numberIf the Complainant called, he would have heard our greeting that clearly states, "If you need to contact us, our address is *** *** *** *** ***

Since the Complainant claimed he paid, this might be the caseCONCLUSION: The parking meters are fool proof if the customer follows the instructionsWe allege the Complainant paid the wrong numberThe City of Phoenix does not void violations and neither do we

I am not happy with this company at all. Not only have I left countless messages on the answering machine but they refuse to return my calls. I received a 25 dollar parking ticket although that I understand. What I am unhappy about is the sticker that was placed on my windshield. The sticker was a pain in the butt to remove and took me almost 20 minutes just to get the paper part of the sticker off. The adhesive is still there. You have vandalized my vehicle and I will not pay the fine until the company personally takes the sticker off of my car. If they do not comply civil action will be taken. No company should treat their customers in this manner and vandalizing my vehicle is a step too far. I will NEVER park there EVER again

To Whom It May Concern, Listed below  is our response. 1.  The violation  notice clearly lists our phone number. If the Complainant called, he would  have heard  our greeting that clearly states, "If you need to contact  us, our address is [redacted]...

[redacted]". As of this date, the Complainant has never called and left a message. The Complainant also failed to contact us in writing. We ask the customer to contact  us in writing just as the Attorney General's office does. 2.  The payment station is identical to many of the meters currently used  by the City of Phoenix.  These meters are error proof.  If the customer paid the right number by cash or credit, the space  payments hows instantly on our computers. 3. The parking lot is large and each space  is numbered. A customer  can forget the number walking to the machine. The signs on the lot clearly state, "To pay the wrong number is the same as not paying."  Since the  Complainant claimed he paid, this might be the case. CONCLUSION: The parking meters are fool proof if the customer follows the instructions. We allege the Complainant paid the wrong number. The City of Phoenix does  not void violations and neither do we.

Phoenix Parking Control targets ASU students and customers of 2 restaurants in the area of Central and Fillmore in downtown Phoenix. They ticket vehicles in self pay lot even though vehicles clearly display paid permits. Then they threaten to tow the vehicles if the tickets aren't paid within 3 days without providing any means to dispute the violation. They only give a payment envelope with a P.O. Box # and a phone number that is never answered by anyone, though sometimes there's a taped message essentially saying that the customer has no recourse.

To Whom it may concern,
I was looking to submit a formal complaint about a worker Leon Woodwork (or Woodward, I could not quite catch the name). This worker, after my asking simply if there was a way to pay a ticket online, starting yelling at me to just put money in the envelop, asking if I “needed my mommy to figure it out for me, if it was too difficult for me to understand”. When I replied I just wanted to know if there was an online system to pay because I didn’t feel comfortable paying cash in a tiny, flimsy envelope, he responded “I don’t care how you feel! It’s not my fault you don’t understand anything”. I asked the man to please stop being so rude to me, and he continued to berate me about how stupid I must be to not know how to pay a ticket- when all I asked was if there were optional ways to pay it. I had other questions to ask (about the tow list, if I would get towed after 3 days at work if my mail didn’t get in on time etc…) but I had to hang up on him because he simply would not stop yelling at me.
I called back about an hour later to get his name, and he groaned, did not answer and just hung up on me.
This is absolutely unacceptable behavior from anybody- let alone a business I’m trying to GIVE money to! I was not trying to get out of the ticket, simply asking if there were other ways to pay it.
Their phone number listed on the ticket does not lead you to an actual person to talk to, I had to dig to find this other phone number, and this whole process has been extremely difficult.

How do they expect you to pay the ticket??? I've called for days, there in no other contact info but an PO BOX. Is this even legitimate?? Kinda sketchy sending them my money doesn't seem very fair that I was automatically placed on a TOW LIST when I have tried to pay...... smells like a scam!

I paid for my parking space and came back after class to a pink flier congratulating me for being on the tow list if I do not pay them within 3 days. Otherwise, I would also be fined an extra $20. They give you an envelope with their P.O. box and number. However, when I tried time after time to contact them in the last 32 hours the phone rang until voicemail. But guess what? Their voicemail is always full so I cannot gain any information on any options of payment online/in person. I also was unable to gain any information on who to talk to or any business hours. I have read many complaints about them and how they force you to send them cash within those three days when you have an issue but there isn't much you can do when they actively avoid you. I now have to pay a $25 fine on top of the $6 I originally paid for my space. Unbelievable business practices. Shame on Phoenix Parking Control for scamming many students and civilians who are already following the rules. I will NEVER use this parking lot ever again. I am positive that the way they run their business and lot has lost them many customers.
