They are a scam. I purchased a lock Smith course from them with the assumption that I would actually learn about locksmithing through exercises and correspondence. The material I received from them was very basic information regarding general locksmithing. After spending about 20 minutes reading this basic information, I took a 10 question test and that was the extent of the course. A few days later I received a Certified Locksmith certificate, an Auto And Truck Locksmith certificate, a Mobile Locksmith certificate, a Real Estate Locksmith certificate, a Home Locksmith Certificate, a Security Consultant certificate and a Law Enforcement Locksmith certificate.

I ordered the locksmith course and when I got the box it came with a book you can buy for 22 dollars and they sent all of my certificates like I had finished the course they don't answer any questions you ask just give you a pep talk I filed a complaint with PayPal as for they do not meet the as described I won my case sent their book back and got my money back would not recommend anyone who is looking for a course not to deal with psu they are a scam

Review: I was looking to learn about becoming a Gun Smith. Phoenix State University Online offers what they call a Master Gunsmithing course with a FFL (Federal Firearms License) paper work to be filled out and sent. for $209. After I had sent in the payment though PayPal. I was sent an E-mail to take one of their exams. It was a 20-question test, with a few webs pages attached to find the answer to the question after reading the information. However, after going further in the file that I received. All 20-question answers were there for the taking. Therefore, I just copied them and sent them back the so-called answers. I then received three certificates in the mail (1) a certified Gunsmith (2) Journeyman Gunsmith (3) Master Gunsmith. However, I had not learned anything that they promised. After contacting them via E-mail about the education, they kept saying that I was the problem for not following thru to get the FFL. However, the state of South Carolina will not grant me the FFL because the state will not allow me to operate a firearm business in my house I need to have a storefront. After again going thru E-mail exchanges, I requested a refund. They responded with an absolute NO refunds are not given without finishing the work. THERE IN NO WORK TO DO. I have been placed on their blacklist of customer who has requested a refund. I no long have contact with them.Desired Settlement: My $209 back.

Review: I enrolled in their "MASTER GUNSMITH" course on line, payed in full.

I received a packet in mail which included 3 DVD/CD's,.The CD's contained ,in general information and the DVD which did detail working on a gun.

Also in the packet was all of my "Certificates of Completion" for ;

"American Association of Gunsmiths and Reloaders"

"Certified Gunsmith" &

"Master Gunsmith"

I received an email with my first & second exams.,the first exam was general information, I took the exam and waited for the results, when nothing was sent I emailed them,

they replied everything looked good, but no scores

I waited for my study material for the next exam, I emailed again,and

I was told it was more important be able to research the answer.

Then they emailed me that the course was mainly to help me get my Federal Firearms Lic, info.

There is absolutely no study material for me to learn gunsmithing.

They have no phone number to talk to them

I requested my money back, which was denied.

When I first enrolled I though it was " University of Phoenix", as their name is misleading.

I think they are a scam,

I have all emails between us if needed.Desired Settlement: I would like them to be held accountable.
