Here is our response to ID # ***Phoenix Woodworking LLC entered into a contract with *** *** on or about the 16th day of Feb, (the “Contract”) Pursuant to the Contract, *** *** was required to (i) pay to Phoenix Woodworking LLC the total sum of $5500, and (ii) obtain two (2) large cabinet jobs for Phoenix Woodworking LLC with third parties Phoenix Woodworking is ready, willing, and able to complete its performance of the Contract upon receipt of the past due payment from *** *** Phoenix Woodworking LLC estimates that it has completed 95% of the entire project and that it can complete the project in approximately additional hours of service. As to *** ***’s reply filed with the Revdex.com on or about August 29, 2016, her statement of facts is in error Cabinets were built in accordance to approved plans Cabinet island was installed to be square to the kitchen wall so that the granite could be squareThis is industry standard We don't install square to the floorOur contract specifies that it is the responsibility of the customer to be sure walls are square and ready for cabinets When flooring is installed incorrectly that is not our responsibility Most of the drawers and shelves are on site they just haven't been installedThe few that aren't there are done and ready to be installed. *** *** sent the demand letter after we tried sever times to communicate with *** *** by email and text to resolve this We even tried calling her after getting her demand letter and she refused to talk to us So we did turn everything over to our lawyer When she called again that is what she was told

[redacted]DOCUMENT ATTACHED[redacted]
I am writing this in response to a complaint filed by [redacted], against [redacted]d Phoenix Woodworking LLC. We strongly deny the claim of [redacted].[redacted] contacted us with the intent of purchasing new cabinets for her home. We had many...

conversations with her regarding the cabinets, the size, color, location and the timing of this job. When we were discussing the price of the cabinets, she made it clear that she couldn't afford our regular price. The cabinets as designed came to a total of $11,565.79 to which [redacted] said it was too much. We negotiated the final price and offered to do the job for $5,500 AND she was required to find us 2 other large cabinet jobs. [redacted] agreed to this price, and the requirement of finding us 2 jobs. To date [redacted] has only paid $4,000. We have requested many times that she finish paying the $5,500 which would only be $1,500 more. [redacted] has refused to do so. Despite our company policy,we went ahead and built all the cabinets, delivered them, and installed them. There are things that need to be done to finish the cabinet install. We need to install the drawer guides, attach the doors, and drawer fronts, toe kicks, and other trim.We could finish the job in a one day time, but [redacted] is in breach of the contract and refuses to pay the last $1,500. In addition, [redacted] is still required to find us one more large cabinetjob. We have made many attempts to contact [redacted] to arrange payment, and set up a time for us to finish the job. In fact we contacted her on August 11th in an attempt to finish this job. She refused to speak to us, or make payment. We have told her that we will not finish the job until the payment is made. [redacted] knew our requirements up front, and agreed to the terms. We went out of our way to assist her, made changes to our policy to allow us to build her cabinets, and get them installed prior to payment.
We do not feel that we are in the wrong. She has filed this complaint in retaliation to us asserting a mechanics lien against her home. She was advised that we were going to turn this over to our attorney with intention of the lien, and then she filed this report. This complaint should be removed and dismissed due to the facts stated above of [redacted] breaching the contract and refusing to pay.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
There are things in response that are inaccurate or false.
I did not initiate first contact with [redacted]. [redacted] contacted me after finding my contact info when I pulled a builders permit for my home. After he met me in home he sent me an estimate. I told him it was higher than I wanted to spend so he willingly offered a adjustment to his pricing. He told me in order for him to show me his drawings I had to make a down payment. I gave him $2500 just to see the drawings.
Before I ever told [redacted] to start my cabinet building job, I told him I was considering pre-build cabinets from [redacted] for downstairs bathroom to reduce my costs because of other unforeseen expenses of remodel in order to stay within my budget. At this time he offered another reduction if I could get him a couple big referrals, or a number of smaller ones that added up.
I referred several people to [redacted]. He either lost the opportunity because he misplaced their contact info, didn't follow through or kept making excuses which resulted in unacceptable delays. The biggest job he got from me disputed their charges due to incorrect construction or issues with delivered product.
Upon first delivery to my home it was discovered that a number of base cabinets were either too small or too large even after I clearly communicated sizes to him. He threatened me that if I didn't pay him in full, he would place a lien on my home. His approach has been unprofessional, and aggressive.
My island wasn't set square with the room (off by at least 1/4") and when we contacted him about it he retorted that it was within industry standards and if we wanted him to come fix it, he would not return the following day to complete scheduled finish of our job. We have missing drawers, no shelves, no hardware to install doors and pull out drawers what are too wide to function properly when cabinet doors are installed.  These are only a few of several challenges we are faced with.
After several issues of the unsatisfactory work was discovered I sent him photos, punch list and demand letter giving him two weeks to contact me for walk through and correct and complete. He made no attempt to contact me. After I reached out by phone call again in hopes to come to some agreement and resolution, he wouldn't even talk with me. I called one more time almost a week later and he told me I would have to talk to his lawyer and hung up on me.
How he can expect me (or anyone else) to pay in full before our job is done with so many issues is unreasonable. This experience has been extremely unpleasant and stressful and has cost us a lot of time and money.
