*** made the contract on the property on November She was insistently pushing a contract to close quickly because they needed a place to stay since she was pregnant at the timeThis is the first time we have let the home buyer move in prior to the closing date of the propertyShe moved in at the beginning of November before the actual final closing date of the sale of the homeWhile she was living in the residence she pointed out a few little things like caulking or missing spots of paint when the house was completed and a licensed plumber and electrician came out to take a look at her concerns and it was correctedI am a supervised builder and make sure everything is up to the standard at all timesI assured her that everything will be taken care of but some things it may take a few days or weeks for the contractors to schedule an appointment for a little touch upI was trying to help her out since she wanted it done immediately to fix a couple pieces of missing grout on the floor of the unit B side bathroom floor in the master bedroomI covered a couple of spots that ***’s husband asked if there is another spot where would he be able to get the caulking so I just gave him what I had at that timeBefore and after the closing of the home, we corrected ***’s entire walk-through check list for Unit A and Unit BThis is a large two story duplex with two units A and B sidesIn February or March, she complained that a window had a leak when it rains so I sent several licensed professionals a number of times to investigate and correct it if neededWe sent a licensed roofer, painter, and window expertEvery time we tried to send someone to repair this, she was very difficult to work with to go check out the windowThe repair guys had to go out to the home four separate times because no one was home or the gate was locked and we had to go through the contract management company to schedule thisEvery single licensed professional repair person that went out to check the window stated that there was nothing wrong with itThere was nothing wrong with the windowIt was condensation from the change in temperature from the outdoors to indoorsWe explained this to her many times and she kept demanding she wanted a different window person to check it out againWe explained when the weather changes and if she still has a problem we will change the window for her at that time to her satisfactionAfter this incidence, we have not heard from her at all until receiving a letter about the mortar and bathroom floorWe sent her a response letter on May 13, and she did not contact me after thatWe sent the brick layer professional to fix the outside work on the mortar she addressed to her satisfactionI sent her a text message that we repaired the mortar outside and the floor contractor will schedule to evaluate itI received a text message response stated that she is not *** *** that it is a wrong numberToday, we received a letter from her attorneyThe picture from the attorney was the first time I saw that photoShe never sent me that prior or addressed itHer complaint to the Revdex.com is falseShe stated that I never answer the phone or fix anythingI go to the subdivision area multiples times a day every day to supervise my subcontractors and I always address any concerns right awayWe completed her walk through checklist and have attempted to satisfy her concernsShe was in a rush to move in assuming because she was pregnant at the time and wanted to be settled which is understandableBut we have made many attempts to fix her concerns with licensed professionalsI am sorry that *** *** is not happy with her homeWe use standard material for the tile floorIt is not top of the line flooringShe paid less that $SQ FT and the homes in the area cost more than thisShe has been going around to neighbors to slander my product and this defamation of character has to stop
