This was a very unfortunate incident and we have bent over backwards to accommodate Mrs***Yes her gap insurance had to come into play when her vehicle was totaled, but it that was due to the fact that she owed more than the car was worth and the independent dealer she purchased the car from
had charged her a very high interest rateWe unfortunately have zero control over when an insurance company completes the payout on their endThis was a very complicated situation and her previous finance company, gap insurance provider, warranty company, and selling dealer were extremely difficult to work with during this entire processThe Acura General Manger Gene G*** has tried to work with *** but she refuses to speak with him. I had [redacted], our parts and service director look into this and as he states below, it appears that there was some miscommunication between, our service advisor, the technician and the customer. We never want any of our guest to feel like they were mistreated or ripped off! So we are willing to...

give the customer a full refund of $475.00. Speaking with [redacted] and [redacted], the advisor and tech involved, they do not know where the customer got this information. Based on the information the customer stated in the Revdex.com complaint, we should refund the amount collected for the seat switch. I am rejecting this response because:They did not bend over backwards to accommodate me, in fact I was the only one to do all the work.  The reason I refused to speak with Gene is because he was incredibly rude to me and I had directed my letter directly to Mr. B[redacted] whom refuses to deal with me.  George was the one who said he would be the one to take care of me and handle the situation.  I am out the expenses of insurance, interest, and plates on top of all the expenses of repurchasing a new vehicle.  I understand the companies were extremely difficult to deal with as I am the one who dealt with them for 104 days, George only spent a few hours dealing with them, then left it up to me.  My biggest frustration is when I found out my car was totaled 4 days prior to anyone telling me and your dealership tried to cover it up.  I don't see how that is bending over backwards to help me.  Please show the Revdex.com your efforts in bending over backwards and I'll show mine.
