The very worst experience I've ever had dealing with a retailerBuyers please be aware of their questionable business practices!
I will never do business with them ever again

Customer
reached out to us that the camera...

is making weird noise, and they wish to
return. We gladly authorized the return for a refund, but when the item was
returned to us, the camera, lenses, and accessories all came back open and
thoroughly used (and the camera was working perfectly). It seems like the
camera was actually used, hence an appropriate restocking fee was applied.

The camera was not thoroughly used! Like I have been saying since the day I first made contact with you, you can NOT determine if a camera works or not if you DON'T take everything out of the box, power it on, put on a lens, etc. The fact that you are saying this camera was thoroughly used when I contacted you immediately after receiving it. You have offered me the WORST customer service. Once I received a replacement of the lens that had been broken, and it not even being the same lens, I then again contacted you. The person on the phone was extremely rude and unapologetic. I didn't know that it was my fault that you had sent me an incorrect replacement. (and by the way, you can tell I didn't even open that box) I would like a full refund on the camera that I had sent back to you. The way I have been treated by you guys is ridiculous. I had to pay my own shipping to send a camera back that was not working properly and came with the wrong lens after the first one was broke. And by the way, you did not happily tell me I could send my camera back when I contacted you for the second time. Instead, you told me I should contact Canon, who had nothing to do with that purchase. Stop lying and own up to the truth.

My first DSLR camera, purchased from this company, left me in aw, no joke. I am an excellent window-shopper/price-shopper keeping up to date on the best prices. A this item was $100.00 less than MSRP and surprisingly shipped in 24 hours! My general review for the new item itself; has given me fantastic satisfaction with all its features.

Review: I received my camera from Photo 4 Less about a month ago. Once I opened the package, I took everything out of the box and put everything together. I put one of the lenses on my camera, and noticed that the lens was broke. I contacted Photo 4 Less and they sent me another one, however, they did not send me the same lens. The lens I received was marked with a Japan label over it, and was completely different then the lens I originally received. In addition to this, the camera was making normal sounds whenever you put a lens on. It was an unpleasant loud, screeching like sound. I contacted Photo 4 Less and explained to this what was happening with the camera and how they sent me the wrong lens. At first they told me to contact Cannon, who had nothing to do with this purchase. I told them that I would just like to send the camera back because of the lens issue and the awful noise the camera was making. They finally agreed to let me send the camera back. Even though it was defective and came with the wrong lens, I had to pay to ship it back.

A week goes by and I get an email saying that they refunded for me 404.65. I paid 519 for the camera. I was puzzled why they shorted me over $100. I called them again on a Friday, and they told me that their return department was not opened until Monday, but they would have someone call me. Monday comes and no one calls me so I have to call them yet again. The lady I spoke with said that the pieces I sent back were in an unusable condition because they were opened. I explained to her that you will not know if something is defective or does not work unless you open up the package and use it one time. She was extremely rude and told me that there was nothing she could do and that they were going to keep my $110.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my FULL refund since the camera was defective. They sent me the wrong lens and if they tried putting the two smaller lens on the camera, they would experience the unpleasant sound it was making. I also would like to be refunded my camera warranty fee of 60 dollars since I no longer have this camera.

If a company sells you a defective product, I believe that they should refund you the whole amount and should not make you pay $15 to send it back.

Response:

We understand that an item needs to be opened in order to test it, however, there is a difference between a camera that was tested, and one that was used. The returned camera has been used. We feel that the restocking fee charged is appropriate, given the condition of the returned item.
