Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: / [redacted] Style Definitions */ In reply to Photo Expressions: I respond again to Photo Expressions, that I myself have not attacked Photo Expressions, nor have I directed friends and family to publicly attack Photo Expression’s reputation through social mediaI would like to point out that merely utilizing a third party, such as Revdex.com, to navigate through our complaint process with Photo Expressions, is not considered a public attack on the company’s reputation and should be considered a civil way of dealing a complaint In regards to your failure to respond within three business days to our letter, perhaps it would have been of better use of your time to discuss the issue at hand with the client, than immediately rush to your law***s who have furnished a letter addressed to myselfI would like to add that Photo Expressions has not received any formal letter from an attorney on my behalf, as I am are trying to work this issue out before utilizing the legal process Photo Expressions has succumbed to lying, neither my wife nor I, have stated that we “loved everything” during our wedding viewingIn fact, after viewing the photos I verbalized my regret and issue with the small quantity of photos provided containing only my wife and IJeff D [redacted] of Photo Expressions stated, that my wife could put her wedding dress back on, I could dress up, and he would reshoot photos of just the two of usI did not pay $to have to reshoot my wedding day, which cannot be recreated We received a copy on a USB with our photos and what was specifically stated as our finished wedding slideshow, which was shown to us during our wedding viewing Photo Expressions has gone back on their word, stating that the slideshow we received on a USB was not a finished product, and is in fact a preliminary wedding slideshowI ask why would Photo Expressions go through the effort of making a preliminary slideshow, show it to clients, provide it on a USB, and then give it to clientsThis seems unnecessary, as it does not make sense to do twice the work, and this is a poor attempt at lying to counter our argument that they failed to provide quality workJust to note I never received a copy of that “finished product wedding slideshow”It seems Photo Expressions will contradict and confuse themselves when deemed necessary to get a point across The original images shown to us during our viewing, were blown up by projector onto a large viewing screen, the images we were told, would be of better quality when viewed on a computer, they are notUpon reviewing the photos on our own, and finding fault in them I contacted Jeff D [redacted] of Photo Expressions, and he assured me the photos were “fully edited with crops and color corrected.” Photo Expressions has since gone on to contradict themselves again, claiming the photos we received are only basic edits, and not fully edited as MrD [redacted] had previously statedFurthermore, I was lead to believe upon selection of the Contemporary II package, that I was to receive printing rights to all images, and nowhere in the original contact does it state that only a select few photos would be “fully” edited to meet professional standards until after our wedding As stated in my first complaint, I struggle to find quality images to use for “editing” for our finished albumHowever, I have never said to Photo Expressions, as they claim, that I intended to forgo completion of our contract to receive a finished product from them, and they are lying in an attempt to not finish their end of the contract The wedding photographers told us that the list of our requested wedding shots was lost; in fact they told us this twice during our wedding dayPhoto Expressions can claim that it was not lost, but this contradicts the actions and words of the photographers during the weddingThis is also supported by the fact that many images we requested were not takenWhy hire a company who detaches itself from all responsibility to the wedding client, but insists on its clients filling out a requested shots form for the company to use on the wedding day Nowhere should it be acceptable for two Photographers to be observed kissing, or goofing off together while working a wedding, let alone being caught embracing one another in the middle of the dance floorI paid a premium price, expecting professional photographers, and as a paying customer I deem this action completely inappropriate and contrary to the actions of a professionalBoth families of the bride and groom agree, and are appalled at the distasteful, childish, unprofessional, and generally inexperienced actions of the two “lead” photographers I would like to add that using, enjoying, and having photos taken of you in the wedding client’s Photobooth is never professional or acceptableThis is obviously not an attempt to take photos of wedding guests, but merely the photographers enjoying and having their pictures takenThe fact that Photo Expressions is trying to pass off their employee’s presence in Photobooth pictures as interacting with guests, or getting action shots of the bride and groom, is ridiculous and calls into question their credibility as a companyPhoto Expressions has already stated that they do not take responsibility for any missed shots or guarantee any specific shots at your wedding, but ensure their photographers will act professional, even if that means wearing a Viking helmet and posing for photos in your Photobooth on your wedding dayPhoto Expressions has just made their services completely irrelevant by removing themselves from any and all responsibility on your wedding day The photographers did not stay until the end of the weddingI know this because my wife, my parents, and myself were the last ones to leave the weddingAll of us agree that the photographers left before the endThis is why we do not have any photos of us leaving the wedding Photo Expressions agrees that we have not received a monetary discount and as full paying customers we are not satisfied with the quality of the service and product received by Photo Expressions Sincerely, [redacted] ***

To whom this may concern, This email is in response to your inquiry regarding [redacted] We at Photo Expressions are working with our attorneys at Professional Photographers of America (PPA) to do what we can to help this matter along [redacted] have not fulfilled their end of our signed contract and yet are insisting that they receive full refund plus all raw imagesWe have made offers to assist in their fulfillment, but they have declinedBecause we are not complying with their unreasonable requests at the drop of a dime [redacted] are attempting to extort us for money by using slander and lies which have been listed in their letter to you, as well as on websites around the internetThey have enlisted an army of friends and family to give our company star reviews on social media in an attempt to deface our star reputationBetween February 14-29th we received twenty-five star reviews on our page, to which our doting clients, followers, and even fellow photographers have openly criticized; they know we don’t deserve what [redacted] and their accomplices have been trying to do to our nameI, myself, was not a photographer at the weddingI was actually in the wedding party; [redacted] was my best friend until this conflictI did oversee my photographers and help with pose family shots and romantics at [redacted] request and also to ensure a job well done If for any reason I believed my photographers were acting inappropriately or drinking on the job, they would have been terminated after this weddingThey conducted themselves professionally, tactfully, and tastefully When the formal letter from Kelly and Alex was presented to us, we were all in shockOur attorneys at PPA, as well as over two dozen other professional photographers, reviewed the wedding images and assured me that our photography at this wedding exceeded the industry standardOur attorneys are helping us to resolve this issue as soundly as possible, however they and we see absolutely no reason to pay them back for a job well done I assure you that we are not this horrible business they are implying we areI have ample additional information to assist in proving our stance in this matter that I can provide upon your requestPlease let me know if you have any additional questions Sincerely, Jeff D***, CPP

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
In reply to Photo Expressions:
I respond
again to Photo Expressions, that I myself have not attacked Photo Expressions,
nor have I directed friends and family to publicly attack Photo Expression’s
reputation through social mediaI would like to point out that merely
utilizing a third party, such as Revdex.com, to navigate through
our complaint process with Photo Expressions, is not considered a public attack
on the company’s reputation and should be considered a civil way of dealing a
complaint
In regards
to your failure to respond within three business days to our letter, perhaps it
would have been of better use of your time to discuss the issue at hand with
the client, than immediately rush to your law***s who have furnished a letter
addressed to myselfI would like to add that Photo Expressions has not
received any formal letter from an attorney on my behalf, as I am are trying to
work this issue out before utilizing the legal process
Photo
Expressions has succumbed to lying, neither my wife nor I, have stated that we
“loved everything” during our wedding viewingIn fact, after viewing the
photos I verbalized my regret and issue with the small quantity of photos
provided containing only my wife and IJeff D*** of Photo Expressions stated,
that my wife could put her wedding dress back on, I could dress up, and he
would reshoot photos of just the two of usI did not pay $to have to
reshoot my wedding day, which cannot be recreated
We received
a copy on a USB with our photos and what was specifically stated as our
finished wedding slideshow, which was shown to us during our wedding viewing
Photo Expressions has gone back on their word, stating that the slideshow we
received on a USB was not a finished product, and is in fact a preliminary
wedding slideshowI ask why would Photo Expressions go through the effort of
making a preliminary slideshow, show it to clients, provide it on a USB, and
then give it to clientsThis seems unnecessary, as it does not make sense to
do twice the work, and this is a poor attempt at lying to counter our argument
that they failed to provide quality workJust to note I never received a copy
of that “finished product wedding slideshow”It seems Photo Expressions will
contradict and confuse themselves when deemed necessary to get a point across
The
original images shown to us during our viewing, were blown up by projector onto
a large viewing screen, the images we were told, would be of better quality
when viewed on a computer, they are notUpon reviewing the photos on our own,
and finding fault in them I contacted Jeff D*** of Photo Expressions, and he
assured me the photos were “fully edited with crops and color corrected.” Photo
Expressions has since gone on to contradict themselves again, claiming the
photos we received are only basic edits, and not fully edited as MrD*** had
previously statedFurthermore, I was lead to believe upon selection of the
Contemporary II package, that I was to receive printing rights to all images,
and nowhere in the original contact does it state that only a select few photos
would be “fully” edited to meet professional standards until after our wedding
As stated
in my first complaint, I struggle to find quality images to use for
“editing” for our finished albumHowever, I have never said to Photo
Expressions, as they claim, that I intended to forgo completion of our contract
to receive a finished product from them, and they are lying in an attempt to not
finish their end of the contract
The wedding
photographers told us that the list of our requested wedding shots was lost; in
fact they told us this twice during our wedding dayPhoto Expressions can
claim that it was not lost, but this contradicts the actions and words of the
photographers during the weddingThis is also supported by the fact that many images
we requested were not takenWhy hire a company who detaches itself from all
responsibility to the wedding client, but insists on its clients filling out a
requested shots form for the company to use on the wedding day
Nowhere
should it be acceptable for two Photographers to be observed kissing, or
goofing off together while working a wedding, let alone being caught embracing
one another in the middle of the dance floorI paid a premium price, expecting
professional photographers, and as a paying customer I deem this action
completely inappropriate and contrary to the actions of a professionalBoth
families of the bride and groom agree, and are appalled at the distasteful,
childish, unprofessional, and generally inexperienced actions of the two “lead”
photographers
I would
like to add that using, enjoying, and having photos taken of you in the wedding
client’s Photobooth is never professional or acceptableThis is obviously not
an attempt to take photos of wedding guests, but merely the photographers
enjoying and having their pictures takenThe fact that Photo Expressions is
trying to pass off their employee’s presence in Photobooth pictures as interacting
with guests, or getting action shots of the bride and groom, is ridiculous and
calls into question their credibility as a companyPhoto Expressions has
already stated that they do not take responsibility for any missed shots or
guarantee any specific shots at your wedding, but ensure their photographers
will act professional, even if that means wearing a Viking helmet and posing
for photos in your Photobooth on your wedding dayPhoto Expressions has just
made their services completely irrelevant by removing themselves from any and
all responsibility on your wedding day
The
photographers did not stay until the end of the weddingI know this because my
wife, my parents, and myself were the last ones to leave the weddingAll of us
agree that the photographers left before the endThis is why we do not have
any photos of us leaving the wedding
Photo
Expressions agrees that we have not received a monetary discount and as full
paying customers we are not satisfied with the quality of the service and
product received by Photo Expressions
Sincerely, *** ***

Complaint: 11147016
I am rejecting this response because:
To Whom It May Concern,
            This is in
response to Photo Expressions’ rebuttal of the submitted complaint against
them. I, [redacted], would like to contest the very real and contemptuous
accusation of slander, lies, and extortion for money brought upon myself
publicly by Photo Expressions. I counter that merely asking for a refund of a
service and or product that the customer deems substandard is not extortion.
The fact that Photo Expressions publicly accused my wife and I of extortion is unfounded
and of poor business practice. I am prepared and will supply evidence to
substantiate my claims.
            I have
personally neither attacked Photo Expressions in public, nor “enlisted an army
of friends and family” to give their company 1 star reviews. Some family and
friends have provided reviews on their own accord after viewing our wedding
photos, being present at our wedding, and or witnessing the response Photos
Expressions provided us. I have tried to keep this situation out of the public
and wish I could say the same for Photo Expressions. In fact, Photo Expressions
released a longer, edited version of the “High Res Digital Wedding Show” I
received from my wedding package on their [redacted] page on February 22nd.
The [redacted] post asked for positive reviews and denounced myself, the wedding
client, whose bride and family are visible in the video for the public to see.
The post baited Photo Expressions page members to attack my wife, family and
friends, as well as individuals, whom I have never met, but disagreed with
Photo Expressions post.
            I ask Photo
Expressions, why was the video released on their [redacted] page so heavily
edited from the original video that was provided to us as a part of our paid
package. If that is what a finished product from your company looks like, then
why was the effort not put in to give me a finished slideshow of similar
quality.
            Photo
Expressions took five days to respond to my initial request in writing, failing
to meet our suggested three-day window. However, Jeff D[redacted] took the initiative
to respond via text message to myself moments after receiving a negative
[redacted] review, accusing my wife of having her friends give 1 star reviews and
telling me I would ruin his company. It appears more effort was put into
defending your company, than actually working with your paying client.
            Photo
Expressions has reached out only once to us formally, providing a condescending
letter urging us to continue with selection of our “album”, and ignoring our
specified struggle to find any number of images that we would like to use for
our 45-image album. Photo Expressions has not responded to requests for a
meeting with the Bride and her Parents regarding the situation. They have since
ignored requests to meet in person, and had their attorney send us a letter
requesting we direct any future communication to their Paralegal and not with
Photo Expressions.
            As for the
photographers acting inappropriately at the wedding, I have a series of photographs
in which Photo Expressions emplo**es are seen in a vendor’s Photo Booth wearing
a Viking helmet and top hat alongside their boss Jeff D[redacted]. I do not condone or
think that enjoying another company’s Photo Booth during the middle of my
wedding was professional or acceptable. My wife and I both watched our two
photographers embrace and kiss sometime right after midnight at our wedding,
again we consider this inappropriate and unprofessional.
            My contract
with Photo Expressions ensures that I paid for two Photographers, not
assistants, and was guaranteed their quality was up to the standard that Photo
Expressions offered. My written contract specifically states for the
Contemporary II package, of which I was charged for the exact price of
$5636.55, that I am provided 2 photographers. On the front page of my contract
with Photo Expressions the listed wedding photographer and reception
photographers are written as “Mike + Assistant”, which is breach of the
contract agreement in which I was charged and paid for. Based upon the obvious
inexperience, naivety and quality of the photographs taken by the “assistant”,
it is very clear I was not given two Photographers. According to the
Professional Photographers of America database, which Photo Expressions is a
part of and utilizes its associated firm, neither Mike M[redacted] or Ashley E[redacted] are Certified Professional Photographers as of March 14, 2016, or during my
wedding on December 31, 2015.
            I am lead
to believe by the actions of Jeff D[redacted] at my wedding, that he was not confident
in his emplo**es, and question their qualifications as professional
photographers. Jeff D**r admits to overseeing and helping to pose family and
romantic shots of my wife and I. Jeff D**r insisted he ensure a job well done
by his photographers by his own doing. I did not ask him to interject himself
into posing, lighting, location, or provide input to his photographers and the
photographs themselves after becoming intoxicated. Jeff D**r was expected by
myself to be in the wedding party and enjoy the wedding as a guest, not
supervise his photographers. I paid for two photographers who should not have
needed supervision, and that is not what I received. I believe that because of
the photographer’s inexperience, they asked for his input and approval, which
he felt compelled to give, even after becoming intoxicated and losing sound judgment.
            Photo
Expressions and their attorneys have insisted I received a discount, but I can
ensure and provide receipts that I paid a full $5636.55 including tax, which is
not a discounted price for the Contemporary II package listed at $5300. Photo
Expressions attorneys state in a drafted letter to myself, that Photo
Expressions, “also discounted your wedding package, originally $5,636.55,” this
is baffling to me since this is the exact price I paid in three installments to
Photo Expressions.
            The photographers
did not stay until the end of the night as listed in my contract. The
photographers failed to capture us leaving and getting into our limo, thus not
staying until the end of the night as written in my contract. This shot was
specifically listed in our written document of requested shots, which the
photographer admitted to losing. My engagement shoot is also included in the Contemporary
II package I paid for, so there is no discount there. The engagement shoot was
upgraded to “anywhere in CT”, however I do not understand how that is an
upgrade or discount, seeing as both Photo Expressions and myself reside in
Connecticut. During the engagement shoot we only took photos at one location,
[redacted] CT.
            Photo
Expressions insists they acted Professionally and provided a product that met
or exceeded the industry standards. I disagree considering I paid a premium
price, much higher than the “industry standard” in CT, and believe I was not
provided a quality product or experience by Photo Expressions.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

To whom this may concern,
This email is in response to your inquiry regarding [redacted]. We at Photo Expressions are working with our attorneys at Professional Photographers of America (PPA) to do what we can to help this matter along. [redacted] have not fulfilled their...

end of our signed contract and yet are insisting that they receive full refund plus all raw images. We have made offers to assist in their fulfillment, but they have declined. Because we are not complying with their unreasonable requests at the drop of a dime[redacted] are attempting to extort us for money by using slander and lies which have been listed in their letter to you, as well as on websites around the internet. They have enlisted an army of friends and family to give our company 1 star reviews on social media in an attempt to deface our 5 star reputation. Between February 14-29th we received twenty-five 1 star reviews on our page, to which our doting clients, followers, and even fellow photographers have openly criticized; they know we don’t deserve what [redacted] and their accomplices have been trying to do to our name. I, myself, was not a photographer at the wedding. I was actually in the wedding party; [redacted] was my best friend until this conflict. I did oversee my photographers and help with pose family shots and romantics at [redacted] request and also to ensure a job well done.  If for any reason I believed my photographers were acting inappropriately or drinking on the job, they would have been terminated after this wedding. They conducted themselves professionally, tactfully, and tastefully.
When the formal letter from Kelly and Alex was presented to us, we were all in shock. Our attorneys at PPA, as well as over two dozen other professional photographers, reviewed the wedding images and assured me that our photography at this wedding exceeded the industry standard. Our attorneys are helping us to resolve this issue as soundly as possible, however they and we see absolutely no reason to pay them back for  a job well done.
I assure you that we are not this horrible business they are implying we are. I have ample additional information to assist in proving our stance in this matter that I can provide upon your request. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Sincerely,
Jeff D[redacted], CPP

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
In reply to Photo Expressions:
I respond
again to Photo Expressions, that I myself have not attacked Photo Expressions,
nor have I directed friends and family to publicly attack Photo Expression's
reputation through social mediaI would like to point out that merely
utilizing a third party, such as Revdex.com, to navigate through
our complaint process with Photo Expressions, is not considered a public attack
on the company's reputation and should be considered a civil way of dealing a
complaint
In regards
to your failure to respond within three business days to our letter, perhaps it
would have been of better use of your time to discuss the issue at hand with
the client, than immediately rush to your law[redacted]s who have furnished a letter
addressed to myselfI would like to add that Photo Expressions has not
received any formal letter from an attorney on my behalf, as I am are trying to
work this issue out before utilizing the legal process
Photo
Expressions has succumbed to lying, neither my wife nor I, have stated that we
"loved everything" during our wedding viewingIn fact, after viewing the
photos I verbalized my regret and issue with the small quantity of photos
provided containing only my wife and IJeff D[redacted] of Photo Expressions stated,
that my wife could put her wedding dress back on, I could dress up, and he
would reshoot photos of just the two of usI did not pay $to have to
reshoot my wedding day, which cannot be recreated
We received
a copy on a USB with our photos and what was specifically stated as our
finished wedding slideshow, which was shown to us during our wedding viewing
Photo Expressions has gone back on their word, stating that the slideshow we
received on a USB was not a finished product, and is in fact a preliminary
wedding slideshowI ask why would Photo Expressions go through the effort of
making a preliminary slideshow, show it to clients, provide it on a USB, and
then give it to clientsThis seems unnecessary, as it does not make sense to
do twice the work, and this is a poor attempt at lying to counter our argument
that they failed to provide quality workJust to note I never received a copy
of that "finished product wedding slideshow"It seems Photo Expressions will
contradict and confuse themselves when deemed necessary to get a point across
The
original images shown to us during our viewing, were blown up by projector onto
a large viewing screen, the images we were told, would be of better quality
when viewed on a computer, they are notUpon reviewing the photos on our own,
and finding fault in them I contacted Jeff D[redacted] of Photo Expressions, and he
assured me the photos were "fully edited with crops and color corrected." Photo
Expressions has since gone on to contradict themselves again, claiming the
photos we received are only basic edits, and not fully edited as MrD[redacted] had
previously statedFurthermore, I was lead to believe upon selection of the
Contemporary II package, that I was to receive printing rights to all images,
and nowhere in the original contact does it state that only a select few photos
would be "fully" edited to meet professional standards until after our wedding
As stated
in my first complaint, I struggle to find quality images to use for
"editing" for our finished albumHowever, I have never said to Photo
Expressions, as they claim, that I intended to forgo completion of our contract
to receive a finished product from them, and they are lying in an attempt to not
finish their end of the contract
The wedding
photographers told us that the list of our requested wedding shots was lost; in
fact they told us this twice during our wedding dayPhoto Expressions can
claim that it was not lost, but this contradicts the actions and words of the
photographers during the weddingThis is also supported by the fact that many images
we requested were not takenWhy hire a company who detaches itself from all
responsibility to the wedding client, but insists on its clients filling out a
requested shots form for the company to use on the wedding day
Nowhere
should it be acceptable for two Photographers to be observed kissing, or
goofing off together while working a wedding, let alone being caught embracing
one another in the middle of the dance floorI paid a premium price, expecting
professional photographers, and as a paying customer I deem this action
completely inappropriate and contrary to the actions of a professionalBoth
families of the bride and groom agree, and are appalled at the distasteful,
childish, unprofessional, and generally inexperienced actions of the two "lead"
photographers
I would
like to add that using, enjoying, and having photos taken of you in the wedding
client's Photobooth is never professional or acceptableThis is obviously not
an attempt to take photos of wedding guests, but merely the photographers
enjoying and having their pictures takenThe fact that Photo Expressions is
trying to pass off their employee's presence in Photobooth pictures as interacting
with guests, or getting action shots of the bride and groom, is ridiculous and
calls into question their credibility as a companyPhoto Expressions has
already stated that they do not take responsibility for any missed shots or
guarantee any specific shots at your wedding, but ensure their photographers
will act professional, even if that means wearing a Viking helmet and posing
for photos in your Photobooth on your wedding dayPhoto Expressions has just
made their services completely irrelevant by removing themselves from any and
all responsibility on your wedding day
The
photographers did not stay until the end of the weddingI know this because my
wife, my parents, and myself were the last ones to leave the weddingAll of us
agree that the photographers left before the endThis is why we do not have
any photos of us leaving the wedding
Photo
Expressions agrees that we have not received a monetary discount and as full
paying customers we are not satisfied with the quality of the service and
product received by Photo Expressions
Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint:
I am rejecting this response because:
To Whom It May Concern,
This is in
response to Photo Expressions' rebuttal of the submitted complaint against
themI, [redacted], would like to contest the very real and contemptuous
accusation of slander, lies, and extortion for money brought upon myself
publicly by Photo ExpressionsI counter that merely asking for a refund of a
service and or product that the customer deems substandard is not extortion
The fact that Photo Expressions publicly accused my wife and I of extortion is unfounded
and of poor business practiceI am prepared and will supply evidence to
substantiate my claims
I have
personally neither attacked Photo Expressions in public, nor "enlisted an army
of friends and family" to give their company star reviewsSome family and
friends have provided reviews on their own accord after viewing our wedding
photos, being present at our wedding, and or witnessing the response Photos
Expressions provided usI have tried to keep this situation out of the public
and wish I could say the same for Photo ExpressionsIn fact, Photo Expressions
released a longer, edited version of the "High Res Digital Wedding Show" I
received from my wedding package on their [redacted] page on February 22nd
The [redacted] post asked for positive reviews and denounced myself, the wedding
client, whose bride and family are visible in the video for the public to see
The post baited Photo Expressions page members to attack my wife, family and
friends, as well as individuals, whom I have never met, but disagreed with
Photo Expressions post
I ask Photo
Expressions, why was the video released on their [redacted] page so heavily
edited from the original video that was provided to us as a part of our paid
packageIf that is what a finished product from your company looks like, then
why was the effort not put in to give me a finished slideshow of similar
quality
Photo
