Despite four communications through the Better Business Bureau, Ms [redacted] has still failed to state what is defective with these handlebar products Because [redacted] installed the handlebars on Ms***’s motorcycles, the handlebars are used LeMans Corporation does not accept returns of used product If [redacted] or Ms [redacted] had determined they had purchased the wrong handlebars, the handlebars should not have been installed The handlebars should have been returned prior to installation. It appears that Ms***’s complaint should be directed to [redacted] [redacted] selected and sold these handlebars to Ms*** There are at least authorized Drag Specialties dealers within miles of Ms ***’s location It was [redacted] who made the decision to purchase the handlebars from [redacted] Custom. We never offered to send Ms[redacted] a catalog Our catalogs were available on line.We do not see any likelihood of resolving this situation Therefore, this response will conclude our involvement in this matter.Thank you, [redacted]

Ms. [redacted] told us she purchased a set of aftermarket handlebars and risers from her personal friend, [redacted] . At the request of Ms. ***, it is our understanding that Mr. [redacted] installed those handlebars on Ms. ***'s motorcycle. We also understand from previous conversations... with Ms. [redacted] that Mr. [redacted] is a machinist, not a professional mechanic. Ms. [redacted] further told us that Mr. [redacted] purchased the handlebars from [redacted] Custom in Medford, CT.According to Ms. ***, Mr. [redacted] selected and purchased the product, 12.5" handlebars (Part No. 0601-0619) and 5.5" risers (Part No. 0602-0504), from our selection of over 200 handlebars and over 130 risers found in our Drag Specialties catalog (www.dragspecialties.com).According to Ms. ***, Mr. [redacted] installed the handlebars and risers on Ms. ***'s bike and that the handlebars were taller than Ms. [redacted] prefers. We do not know if Mr. [redacted] showed the handlebars and riser to Ms. [redacted] before installing the product on her bike or whether she approved the purchase of the handlebars and risers or approved the installation of the handlebars and risers.Drag Specialties sold the handlebars and risers, which are not defective, to [redacted] Custom in Medford, Ct. [redacted] Custom is not a subsidiary of Drag Specialties. We have no knowledge of portraying [redacted] Custom as an authorized or legal business entity. However, [redacted] Custom is an independent business to which Drag Specialties sells product. We have no knowledge that [redacted] Custom is not a legal business entity.According to Ms. ***, she and/or Mr. [redacted] tried to return the handlebars and risers to [redacted] Customs without success. Then, Ms. [redacted] contacted Drag Specialties to try to return the product and get a refund from Drag Specialties. We explained to Ms. [redacted] that Drag Specialties is strictly a wholesaler and works through its dealers with respect to refunds. However, because the handlebars and risers have been installed, the product was no longer new and we would not issue a return authorization to [redacted] Custom. There is nothing wrong with the product purchased other than the product purchased resulted in a "Tall" set of handlebars and, therefore, Ms. [redacted] has decided that she does not like them. Ms. [redacted] and/or her friend, [redacted] , did not do adequate research or analysis before having the handlebars and risers installed and wants someone else to pay for her error. We are unable to address Ms. ***'s issue.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
Regards,
[redacted]Mr. [redacted] was not a personal friend and I did not know him before March of 2015. He said he did motorcycle work on the side in addition to being a machinist. He asked me what I wanted for bars and I explained what I was looking for. He said he would go to his supplier and discuss it, to make sure it was correct. DS is trying to deny fault because I didn't directly go to the shop myself. But ask yourself, do you order parts yourself when your car is in the shop? No, you let the person working on it handle it. DS also does not have an accurate description of the product in the catalog. They claim that there's a sizing chart on a different page but it doesn't direct you there and it doesn't show up online when the part number is typed in. [redacted] at DS said there is a process in which you must go through in order to become a dealer. To say they had no knowledge of long riders not being a legitimate business shows poor business practices and goes back on their statement of supposedly not dealing with the public.

Despite four communications through the RevDex.com, Ms. [redacted] has still failed to state what is defective with these

are used.  LeMans Corporation does not
accept returns of used product.  If [redacted] or Ms. [redacted] had determined they had purchased the wrong handlebars,
the handlebars should not have been installed.  The handlebars should have been returned prior to installation. It appears that Ms. [redacted]’s complaint should be directed

[redacted] who made the decision to purchase the handlebars from [redacted]
Custom. We never offered to send Ms.[redacted] a catalog.   Our catalogs were available on line.We do not see any likelihood of resolving this situation.
Therefore, this response will conclude our involvement in this matter.Thank you,[redacted]
