Not a Canadian Company and Surprise Duties and fees had to be paid
I would not recommend this company. After ordering a voucher they had on sale and also their photobook lite package to go towards shipping, I had issues using the vouchers. It took a couple of emails back and forth and this did get sorted out.
Once my books were ordered and shipped I was kept up to date on my order status. However, to my shock I received an email from the shipping company that I now had duties and fees to pay in order to receive my shipment. I had ordered from "Photobook Canada" so assumed I was receiving a product from Canada and did not think to look at the fine print regarding shipping. They do have a fine print (you have to physically click on the link in the shipping information page to get to the detail) advising they cannot control import fees/taxes, but again I did not think to look for this information as I assumed based on their name Photobook Canada I was purchasing in Canada. I am very disappointed that these books are not costing me over $50 each and I am not supporting a Canadian Company. Very disappointed! Once my vouchers are used up I will not use this company again.

I ordered my book on July 14, 2015, and was assured by the auto-reply email message that states "Production time is between 2-working days." I paid for expedited shipping to ensure my book arrived on time (I must have it by this Friday, July 24) At NO time was I contacted to be warned that Photobook Canada would not be able to fulfill their end of our contract I was told on the phone that they "upgraded the printing process" and that has put them behind in production I believe warning customers in advance is the only ethical thing to do Since then I have tried to contact them again and they are not answering their phone Their customer service is appalling Never will I order from them again

I just want to share my experience with Photobook Canada I wish it was a good review but it is not I ordered books, one for each of my kids for Christmas One book was ordered on December 7th and the other on December 9th I have received the book that was ordered on December 9th but have yet to receive the other one Last week I messaged customer service and they were very friendly and shared with me that there was a problem with printing my book and they had to start over They assured me that my book would be finished and ready to ship last Friday December 19th Today is December 22nd and I notice that the book is still in the printing phase This has really put a damper on my Christmas gifts for my kids I cannot give one child a book and not the other I spent so very long making sure that these books were ready in time for Christmas and now all that time is wasted I am so upset I have messaged them again with my disgust and no reponse I sent a message to them on their *** page and it was deleted I am not sure what to do but I want it to be known that they are not a company I would suggest to anyoneEspecially since the one book I got came to me with blurry pictures So dissapointed

I bought a *** for three 8Xphotobooks through Photobook CanadaMy first attempt at completing the project allowed me to get to the end of the project (saving my project every half hour) only to discover that the website froze and then completely wiped out my "saved" project
I attempted to call customer service, no luckThey do not have a working telephone number
I sent three separate email complaints to their customer care department; no return email
I tried to use their online chat service; it was "out of service and offline"
There is no way to get through to this company
I started my project overTook another hours to completeWhen I went to check out and pay I had an issue with not being able to choose a shipping addressI am registered as a United States citizen with a US mailing addressBut still, no way to choose a shipping option
I again sent numerous emails asking for helpNo one respondedI'm out dollars and seven hours of my timeI'm over itI'm telling everyone I know, on every form of media to NOT use this service

I purchased a voucher on the photobookcanada website via *** and received confirmation the payment went through I created my photo book and have been trying to complete the process for days and the site won't go beyond the account details page I have tried many many attempts to contact them via email, their online chat and phone (their phone number does not work - call failed each attempt) and no one responds Is this site actually legit? I have paid for a service and there is zero customer service

Does anyone even work at Photobook Canada? I had ordered photobooks through them, and when I received them, were very poorly printed and needed to be redoneI tried calling the number on the website - out of serviceSo I tried emailing their support team - no responseThen I tried submitting a ticket through their online contact form - again radio silence! In all my attempts to reach Photobook Canada, not a single person responded
In order to get any customer service help I had to go to Photobook Worldwide directlyEven dealing with them was a nightmareWhat a simple minute phone call with someone at Photobook Canada could have resolved, it took days of back and forth intermittent messages from Photobook Worldwide to get any sort of satisfactory resolutionThis is unacceptable by today's standard of customer service
In the end, and after me having to follow up every single day with Photobook Worldwide, I was able to get my printing issue resolvedBut as for Photobook Canada, if this is even a real company with human beings working here, well they have a lot of work to do to correct their customer service
When your order goes right it can be a great online shopping experience, but when things go wrong, they are not worth any sort of savings you may get with one of their vouchers they promote online*** **

I wanted to comment (since there are so many bad comments) that we ordered our book from Photobook Canada on Friday, December 2. It was easy to do, as we used one of their pre-designed books and just dragged and dropped our photos in. We used a coupon code from their Black Friday sale, and had no issues. It took two days for them to process the book, and it was sent by [redacted] courier on Monday from Malaysia. It was delivered to my front door yesterday (December 8) at 10:30am. It's absolutely beautiful, and exactly like my preview appeared.

I was quite concerned after buying a voucher for this company and then reading the many negative reviews. I was looking for a Canadian photo calendar source and thought I had found a great one here. After the poor customer service regarding technical issues on their site I finally finished the calendars and hit the send button. The processing and shipping were extremely quick...although I was surprised (and a bit dismayed) to have a shipping notice from Malasyia! The calendars are acceptable, but not top quality...I certainly didn't pay the price for premium calendars, so all turned out well.

I ordered a calendar, needed quickly in time for Christmas, should have purchased local but thought this would be easy and it was a good "deal". I first checked the company address on the website, Markham, ON....great, only an hour from me. They also have a 7 day guarantee from order to your door...great. NO. A full week and a half went by I still hadn't recieved email that it has been shipped. Their online order status just said "null". I tried to find a phone number, nothing. [redacted] a number, found one, call wouldn't connect. I opened a "service ticket" 4 days later....still nothing. I marked my "ticket" as urgent and opened another one too. Nothing. I contacted them through [redacted]....3 days later got a reply that said here is your tracking number through [redacted].....looked it up. It was sent from Malaysia to Hong Kong to the USA then to Canada. So much for it being in Markham, ON. Still haven't received it, or a refund for my shipping, so much for their 7 day guarantee.
