I am replying to the information that I received recently with the-ID# [redacted] Here is what really happened:I photograph Kay's Academy of Dance in Mukwonago, WI and have done so for years Their picture day is also a rehearsal day which makes it extremely chaotic I had staff members with me that day and we try our darndest to take care of everyone quickly, happily and professionally I will also mention here that there are about dancers here that need to do rehearsal and get pictures taken which is a lot of studentsThe customer that is complaining was NOT there for this picture day She sent her husband with her year old daughter ( I was told the daughter was years old by Kay) I believe this is also their first year in dance With that said any dad sent to a dance picture/rehearsal day can be overwhelmed because of the chaos of the environment The pictures run like this: the girls gather in a back room to get ready for their rehearsal on stage and parents are not allowed back there-not my choice, this is Kay's Academy of Dance decision) As a class they go on stage to run through their dance Right after their stage rehearsal they go directly as a class group to another back room to get their class group picture taken and I have at least two staff members there and Kay's also has helpers back there It is at this time that I assume Mr [redacted] came to my secretary table and paid for his daughter's pictures My secretaries are very nice and very informative and I again assume that they marked the order form paid and told Mr [redacted] to hang onto the paperwork and come back with his daughter for her individuals If Mr [redacted] 's daughter was there with him we would not have let them leave without taking the individual picture (it is for parents to pay when the kids are not there and have the kids run back and forth for their individual pictures.) I again am assuming here but this is probably how the mistake happened - Mr [redacted] met his daughter after she came out of the back room after her rehearsal and getting her group picture take and said to her "we need to get your picture taken" and she told him "I did get my picture take" so they went home Him being a new dad to the situation and his daughter being only I assume there was a miss communication and it truly is that easy to have this happen. We did not end up taking the individual picture of the [redacted] girl nor do I have her order form I looked thoroughly for both So taking to Mrs [redacted] I immediately apologized and said I can offer you a retake in my studio and I would give you extra free prints for the hassle or I can send you the group picture (that her daughter IS in) and refund the individual print total Now again I don't have the order form and I could go through my credit charges to find out if she really paid and ordered or not but I trust everyone so I just go with what she tells me She is fine with a refund and me sending the group photo at this time. She was always a bit snippy when we talked but I try to calm everyone down and make right of the situation I understand that she now does not have a picture of her daughter on the cute backgrounds that I bring for picture day but she said she took several of her in the dance costume so it is okay The next day she called in a fit of rage! Anything I said was confronted with negativity She questioned everything-why do we not have the paperwork, how could we have missed her daughter's picture, her husband couldn't find us for the individuals All of those question I answered the best I could but she said everything was just excuses When I mentioned that her husband must have paid without his daughter standing there with him and my secretaries asked him to bring her back she said that he does not speak English and then went on a long rant that I need to be more accommodating to people that don't speak English I mentioned that I had a fluent Spanish speaking ex-professional dancer there with me helping pose the kids and he and I were right behind the secretaries table Well then she starts in that I didn't advertise that and shame on me and how could I run my business so poorly and blah, blah, blah Everything I said did not meet her expectations of what she wanted to hear Basically she didn't want to hear that her husband made a mistake and didn't get his daughter's picture taken and took the paperwork home with htruly is that simple I had to hang up the phone after several minutes of her ranting because the conversation was going nowhere and she was bashing my business and me personally so much that I was not willing to put up with that anymore but of course she doesn't mention that in her complaint.I believe that is was a mistake on her husband's part of not bringing her daughter back for the picture and I have already rectified the situation with doing exactly as I said I would- sending her the group picture and refunding the individual picture total of the order that she said she purchased-both were sent to Kay's Academy of Dance for Kay to hand to Mrs [redacted] as a way for Kay to finalize this issue.I have been a professional photographer for years this coming January and I have had my own business for years I love my job, I am very easy to deal with and certainly don't want anything to ever go wrong at work but I am human and mistakes will be made Even if it is not my fault I do apologize and try to make it right My husband is my accountant and we run a very honest business During the spring I photograph dance studios and 1000'sof kids Of course every once in awhile something will go wrong I could forget to pack a group picture or sent the wrong group picture but all the customer has to do is call me and I will go out of my way to make sure I satisfy this customer and apologize for the mistake that has happened. In my opinion Jessica [redacted] is THAT MOM that is a pain in the butt all the time! She is the person that thinks she is right all the time no matter what and will get her way all the time If you look at her Facebook page this is what she does-she bashes everyone and likes to claim everyone is racist I have been told by "others" that know Mrs [redacted] that she is the "difficult" person all the time.I apologize to you for this incident because it is just an absolute waste of your time and my time but thank you for your help in this matter If you need anything else please contact me.Sincerely, [redacted] Photography by KathyHaynes CourtBurlington, WI 53105262-342-

I am replying to the information that I received recently with the-ID# [redacted].  Here is what really happened:I photograph Kay's Academy of Dance in Mukwonago, WI and have done so for 17 years.  Their picture day is also a rehearsal day which makes it extremely chaotic.  I had 7...

staff members with me that day and we try our darndest to take care of everyone quickly, happily and professionally.  I will also mention here that there are about 450 dancers here that need to do rehearsal and get pictures taken which is a lot of students. The customer that is complaining was NOT there for this picture day.  She sent her husband with her 5 year old daughter ( I was told the daughter was 5 years old by Kay).  I believe this is also their first year in dance.  With that said any dad sent to a dance picture/rehearsal day can be overwhelmed because of the chaos of the environment.  The pictures run like this:  the girls gather in a back room to get ready for their rehearsal on stage and parents are not allowed back there-not my choice, this is Kay's Academy of Dance decision).  As a class they go on stage to run through their dance.  Right after their stage rehearsal they go directly as a class group to another back room to get their class group picture taken and I have at least two staff members there and Kay's also has helpers back there.  It is at this time that I assume Mr. [redacted] came to my secretary table and paid for his daughter's pictures.  My secretaries are very nice and very informative and I again assume that they marked the order form paid and told Mr. [redacted] to hang onto the paperwork and come back with his daughter for her individuals.  If Mr. [redacted]'s daughter was there with him we would not have let them leave without taking the individual picture.  (it is normal for parents to pay when the kids are not there and have the kids run back and forth for their individual pictures.)  I again am assuming here but this is probably how the mistake happened - Mr. [redacted] met his daughter after she came out of the back room after her rehearsal and getting her group picture take and said to her "we need to get your picture taken" and she told him "I did get my picture take" so they went home.  Him being a new dad to the situation and his daughter being only 5 I assume there was a miss communication and it truly is that easy to have this happen. We did not end up taking the individual picture of the [redacted] girl nor do I have her order form.  I looked thoroughly for both.  So taking to Mrs. [redacted] I immediately apologized and said I can offer you a retake in my studio and I would give you extra free prints for the hassle or I can send you the group picture (that her daughter IS in) and refund the individual print total.  Now again I don't have the order form and I could go through my credit charges to find out if she really paid and ordered or not but I trust everyone so I just go with what she tells me.  She is fine with a refund and me sending the group photo at this time. She was always a bit snippy when we talked but I try to calm everyone down and make right of the situation.  I understand that she now does not have a picture of her daughter on the cute backgrounds that I bring for picture day but she said she took several of her in the dance costume so it is okay.  The next day she called in a fit of rage!  Anything I said was confronted with negativity.  She questioned everything-why do we not have the paperwork, how could we have missed her daughter's picture, her husband couldn't find us for the individuals.  All of those question I answered the best I could but she said everything was just excuses.  When I mentioned that her husband must have paid without his daughter standing there with him and my secretaries asked him to bring her back she said that he does not speak English and then went on a long rant that I need to be more accommodating to people that don't speak English.  I mentioned that I had a fluent Spanish speaking ex-professional dancer there with me helping pose the kids and he and I were right behind the secretaries table.  Well then she starts in that I didn't advertise that and shame on me and how could I run my business so poorly and blah, blah, blah.  Everything I said did not meet her expectations of what she wanted to hear.  Basically she didn't want to hear that her husband made a mistake and didn't get his daughter's picture taken and took the paperwork home with him-it truly is that simple.  I had to hang up the phone after several minutes of her ranting because the conversation was going nowhere and she was bashing my business and me personally so much that I was not willing to put up with that anymore but of course she doesn't mention that in her complaint.I believe that is was a mistake on her husband's part of not bringing her daughter back for the picture and I have already rectified the situation with doing exactly as I said I would- sending her the group picture and refunding the individual picture total of the order that she said she purchased-both were sent to Kay's Academy of Dance for Kay to hand to Mrs. [redacted] as a way for Kay to finalize this issue.I have been a professional photographer for 25 years this coming January and I have had my own business for 15 years.  I love my job, I am very easy to deal with and certainly don't want anything to ever go wrong at work but I am human and mistakes will be made.  Even if it is not my fault I do apologize and try to make it right.  My husband is my accountant and we run a very honest business.  During the spring I photograph 16 dance studios and 1000'sof kids.  Of course every once in awhile something will go wrong.  I could forget to pack a group picture or sent the wrong group picture but all the customer has to do is call me and I will go out of my way to make sure I satisfy this customer and apologize for the mistake that has happened. In my opinion Jessica [redacted] is THAT MOM that is a pain in the butt all the time!
