I have been working with a gentleman at Cascade named Dustin for approximately a month now in trying to secure a re-finance He was very eager to get my information and help me start with the application process Once we hit an unexpected snag in the process I have not been able to reach himI have left several voice mail messages at his extension x [redacted] as well as sent him e-mails I have yet to receive a response and am now questioning the legitimacy of this company and building a relationship with them for 20+ yearsEspecially considering they already have my taxes, SSN, paystubs, etcThis is all very disturbing
I am a first time home buyer and was referred to Cascade by a dealer that was looking to get me approved for new homeUnfortunately we were unable to agree on monthly payments, however I contacted loan officer [redacted] about getting another property (home land combo) financedHe assured me that we would be able to get that done and asked for address and information on homeI didn't hear anything from him over 2weeks do I tried calling To touch baseTo this point for over months now I have only spoken to loan officer once (will not return phone calls or emails or is on vacation/ out of office for weeks on end), his 1st assistant which asked me to get her the same information I had previously given [redacted] (which screwed all the information up from beginning), a "assistant mang" Cami whom assured me on April 20th the documentation was going to get updated but I needed to go into the portal and esign release and [redacted] was going to get back on the following Monday for me to call him then
Cascade always goes above and beyond to help us and the customers to have the best experience and timeliness on the loan processEveryone there is always friendly and has great response time!

So we've been working with cascade since 5/16/18.We applied for an FHA loan which at first they sent us info about a conventional loanSo we had to call them back and let them know again that we were interested in a fhaSo on 6/1/18, he was maxed out for a fha loan ,and we were happy with the numbers We sent all the indy they needed to get everything rollingOn 7/16/18,they finally appraised the land...by 7/18/18, we were told our loan info was sent to underwriting, that the manufactured home and land appraised for about $5,more than what was neededWe had a few questions about the process, so we tried calling our person of contact, Wyck I left a message, waiting a few days and called back, bc we never received a call back She finally answeredAgain confirmed that our loan was in underwriting, and we should here something back within a couple days .still nothing Received an email, letting us know to look at the valuation, and give them full business days before we would closeToday was day 5, tried calling them no answerThe home place tried calling a few ppl higher up, said that everyone pretty much put of off on the next personHe was finally told that the person that was working on the loan would give him a call back shortly ....he never heard anything I also called today, was told to leave a message, still waiting on a response ! My problem with cascade has been that they don't update the customers at all! Don't return calls, and they put the blame on everyone else ! At first they were amazing at answering questions , now we feel avoided! We also called the sales guy for our area , still nothing! One of our biggest problems is that we've already sold our mobile home and it has to be moved! I guess I'm suppose to move my family into a motel mins away? We just want updates, we want our calls returnedAlso heard we aren't the only family having the same problem!
We originally had preapproval from Cascade in March We found our dream land and placed a contract with them and was advised closing wold be end of JuneWe placed $with the title company for the landWe were not informed of the closing date to be changed until we had to call Cascade on 6/22/Cascade then informed us it would take longer to close since there was something on my husbands credit that was being disputed and if we paid $they can fix this and close soonerThe sellers of the land didn't want to have an extension of the contractWe ended up losing our dream land and half of our $we put down since Cascade didn't inform us earlier about this problemSo we our out $of the down payment and $we paid to Cascade
My husband and I were in a process of buying land and a manufacturer home with Cascade FinancialWe had problems with them not having correct information or losing paperworkThis process took over three months, we were told we have been approved from underwritingThen my husband was offered a better job and before we did anything we asked them what would be required to if he switched jobs before we close, they told us at the most days of pay statements, but an employment verification form should workLong story short they completely lied to us and the manufacturer home placeCascade told the manufacturer home place they told us months, and I have every email from them staying days pay statementsEven with solid proof they still denied usIt's bad enough they took months to do paperwork after they told us multiple times we would be able to set a closing date soonAfter all of that they are keeping our deposit for the "land survey"
I secured an FHA loan for a manufactured home from Cascade recently and the entire process was smooth and I'm very happy with the results I went into the process knowing that securing a year fixed FHA loan on a manufactured home could sometimes be difficult but with Cascade it was no problem at all Jason was a pleasure to work with, he talked to me up front about what to expect and then I was transferred to Megan who processed our loan and who was a joy to work with and was on top of things every step of the way She called and e mailed us with updates and what was needed and how the process was going and when closing should be and everything she told us was spot on There was never a time I had a question and had to wait for her response and she was always careful to take the time to answer any questions we had and how things were moving along, very professional and a pleasure to work with from start to finish My wife and I are very happy we chose Cascade and we are in the home we wanted thanks to their diligence and hard work Nothing but good things to say about the company and Jason and Megan
I attempted to use Cascade Financial for a [redacted] on an established modular home on acres of property in Texas Bottom line up front, the experience was horrible and ended out with the sellers requesting a termination from the home sale after Cascade spent more than days processing this loan with no end in sight The loan spent more than weeks in underwriting I would be asked to provide documentation, and then asked for the same documents a week later The excuse was always that the IT department had blocked emails when multiple requests for information already submitted were received In addition to losing submitted paperwork on a regular basis, Cascade attempted to open a homeowner policy in my name, asked the tax assessment office to remove easements from the property, and other requests that gave myself, the realtor, and the tax office the impression the underwriters had no idea what they were doing Customer representatives in both Texas and Arizona routinely failed to return phone calls and failed to provide an update on the loan the past week until the sellers decided this extended drama was no longer worth the wait It was only AFTER I informed Cascade that I was terminating the mortgage that they got back with me regarding the status of the loan In summary, this company wasted over days of time, cost the sellers and I approximately $in inspections and fees, and failed to provide a completed [redacted] so that we could close on the property days AFTER the contracted closing date I strongly recommend against using Cascade for any [redacted] ***s
My husband and I recently purchased a modular home through Clayton homesCascade financial services were quick to give us a pre-approval, and then worked personally and diligently with us to see us through to closingWe worked with Cami and Jessica (not sure if I can mention names) but they went absolutely above and beyond for usWe had a couple of hiccups during the process but these ladies really worked hard to get us in our homeI'm happy to say we closed and are now awaiting the arrival of our new home but honestly, I feel like I miss them already :)
