PHYSICAL GRAFFITEE'S

Review: I purchased a screen-printed hooded sweatshirt through my college nursing program. The item came with paint (some sort of white stain) across the left sleeve and a large clump of pulled stitching just above that. I contacted the company directly to address the issue, and was told via phone by Stephen (who said he was the owner) to bring the garment into the shop for repair or replacement. I did so this morning, and he rudely told me he would only fix the ink smear. He took the piece to the back of the shop, removed most of the stain, and returned. I requested a new item due to the stitching defect, and he said that it isn't a big deal and he could just pull the thread. He yanked the thread out, leaving a 1-1 1/2" missing piece of seam on the left arm. I told him that is not okay with me, and he said he refuses to replace an item due to a loose/missing thread. I requested a refund, and he said the same excuse with an additional expletive in front of my two small children. I told him I would be returning it to the people who ordered directly and they would return the item anyways, and he said he would tell them what he told me and refuse service. I told him this was about customer service and that I would report him to the Revdex.com if I could not get a replacement or refund for the damaged item, seeing as it came in this condition, and had not been washed.Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the cost of my item, $25, as well as $5 for driving to his shop in icy weather after being told he would remedy the situation, and then failed to do so. $30 refund.

I am rejecting this response because the seam that the owner pulled was in fact large enough to be noticeable, and the shirt was therefore defective. All I asked for was a replacement, the school reps should not have had to pay for a replacement. What a rude owner to write such a condescending letter. I hope this complaint at least stays on their file, while my portion of the issue was solved by someone else purchasing a replacement.
