This company billed Medicare after another company billed them for our pathologist, in fact they attempted to bill Medicare multiple times, my secondary insurance paid both bills (for same billing code) this company created a bill expecting more money, they sent us another bill even after being paid by Medicare and insurance, this was almost 12 months after service.

We have spoken to the patient multiple times and emailed with him going back to 11/28/trying to explain to him that we have confirmed he was treated at *** *** ***Our bill is for pathology for lab tests related to his treatment through the ERWe have confirmed (3) different times
with *** *** that he was indeed a patientHe signed a COA (Condition of Administration) and attestation about his insurance via bedside registration when he was treated on 10/20/Since we are billing for pathology, he wouldn't have seen our doctor because we don't treat patients face-to-face, but services were indeed renderedWe billed his insurance, they paid their portion, and there is a zero balanceIf he is still disputing the services, *** *** Patient Accounts Department said he needs to call them directly at ***I trust that this answers your questions so you can close this complaintIf not, please let me knowThank you, ***
