We received this complaint and I trying to direct to correct person for review. I was hoping you could provide some additional information for us. Do you know the name of provider of service? On the complaint you list Physician’s
Billing Office as name of company we provide billing for various companies so was hoping you could get actual name of provider. If you don’t have it the patient should know from a statement or where they were seen at and either would be helpful information

Dear Revdex.com,
This is in response to your request for more information about my claim.  I am attaching my bill from Progressive Radiology which shows that I paid in full.  I'm also attaching a statement from my insurance company that shows that they subsequently reimbursed Progressive, which is why I am due a refund.
Since I first submitted my complaint, I have contacted Physician's Billing several more times, still with no real response, except they're looking into it.  Several people there have told me that if they could refund to my credit card they could give me a refund immediately, but for some reason "their system won't allow it."  There is no problem with the credit card on my end; I still have the same account and same credit card number.  They did give me my claim number, though, which is [redacted]  They do seem to be tracking all of my phone calls and who I spoke to.
I have also learned that Physician's Billing is a call center with many locations.  Although I submitted the claim against a California office, other times I have called I spoke to people in the midwest or in the south.  Even though I have spoken with a supervisor a couple of times, I have never been able to speak to someone who has the power to help with my request or give me any concrete information. After calling them so many times and getting the run-around, I am truly convinced they are running a scam and either trying to keep people's money so long they can make a profit on it, or they are hoping the refundees will give up or forget about their refunds so they can keep the money.  Please help if you can.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. I truly appreciate your efforts in this matter, and your ability to find the right party to go to and get them to take action.  As you know, I tried for months and didn't get anywhere.  With your help, it was resolved within a short time.  It's nice to know that the Revdex.com is there for the consumer, is very responsive, makes good use of technology for communications, and can really get results.  Thanks again.

Review: Physicians Billing Office (PBO) handled the billing for an MRI I received on April 12th, 2014. My insurance covered the MRI, but I had already paid out-of-pocket, so I was due a refund, and PBO is handling it. I first called them at the end of April to get the status; they said wait 4-6 weeks. After 6 weeks I called again and was told 6-8 weeks. After 8 weeks I called and was given another story about how sometimes it takes longer, but I would definitely get a refund. Finally, in late June (10 weeks after the MRI) I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told one would call me back within 24 hours; no one did. The next day I again asked for a supervisor and finally reached [redacted] looked at my account and explained that even though I was due a refund, she had to go through some sort of special approval process with another supervisor to get it to happen. [redacted] called me on July 1 to let me know that the refund process was finally initiated. Today, July 14th, over 3 months after my MRI, the automated phone line at PBO said my refund would be processed in 4-6 weeks. I waited to speak to an agent, and the agent said it would actually be 2-3 weeks (although 2 weeks have already passed with no refund). The agent refused multiple requests to transfer me to a supervisor. They also informed me that PBO will not pay interest, despite their keeping over $400 of my money for three months. I firmly believe that PBO would not give me a refund at all if I hadn't been insistent about it. Since I'm still not in possession of a refund check, it's possible that they are still lying to me about the refund and that the check doesn't exist.Desired Settlement: I am definitely interested in getting my refund. In theory this will happen without Revdex.com involvement. I would also like there to be a black mark on Physicians Billing Office's record, so medical offices will hesitate to do business with them in the future.
