Physicians Now

Review: I was serviced by Physicians Now on several occasions, each time they took an excessive amount of money on my credit card saying it was my "deductible". The insurance company has processed all the claims, paid them their money and they have owe'd me $477.81. I have contacted them no less than 8 times and the billing person says she is not responsible for cutting the checks though confirms she sees that I am due the money. She refers me to the office manager and she doesn't take my calls and doesn't return calls. I've been calling since March when they were paid for the first four services. Here is the detail including the amount due per my insurance statements. It's unfortunate because the doctor is excellent.

I am rejecting this response because I, as well as my insurance company have been told on several occasions that a check was to be cut that week and it would be "in the mail". This has been the same story for months. I still have not received a refund check as of today.

Review: The company has failed to send a refund of over payment they made me make at time of doctors visit. I was forced to make a twenty-five dollar copayment and a one hundred fifty nine dollar payment at the time of service, even after I questioned why the one hundred and fifty nine dollar payment had to be made. I was told because I had to meet my deductible. I called my insurance company [redacted] and questioned them about this but they couldn't really tell me anything until they received the claim from the doctor and it was processed. It has now been two months and I have not received my refund from Physicians Now. The claim has been processed and it states that I only owe them $53.01 and $1.16, totaling $54.17. A huge difference from what I was made to pay at the time of service. Physicians now has received the check for their services and cashed the check on June 7th. I have been given the runaround as to when I would be receiving my refund. I was told by the accounting department the check would go out on the 15th of June. I did not receive the refund in the mail. I called the accounting office again and was told after questioning what address they sent the refund to that they sent it to the wrong address. Then their story changed. The refund had not been mailed after all. They are now claiming they are holding the refund because they are not finished with the claim. They are asking for it to be reprocessed. The date of the office visit is April 2, 2013 .Desired Settlement: To receive a call that the refund check is ready to be picked up. I no longer trust them to mail it to me, so I have told them I will pick it up at their office.
