After receiving the response from Physicians Weight Loss Center (PWLC) to the Attorney Generals letter, I telephoned the Attorney Generals office and talked to them. I pointed out that PWLC had never addressed the main issue in my original complaintI never denied signing the contractThe contract states I am to receive a physicalI asked PWLC if I could have that done by my physician and I was told no because their physician is a bariatric specialistFor whatever reason, they never could arrange for their physician to see me, so PWLC asked a Chiropractor, who has an adjoining office, to conduct the physicalThis is not a licensed MD in the state of Virginia, nor is this a professional that has any vested interest in weight loss. My contract said a physical and they verbally assured me it would be by a bariatric physician. Unfortunately the Attorney General's Office is unable to deal with breach of contract situations and suggests that I pursue this privately
In PWLC's response to Revdex.com, they are still not addressing that they had a Chiropractor conduct a physical, clearly avoiding unethical business practices and breach of contract issues
