Review: This is a groomer;I took my 3 yr.old Shihtzu Ebbi to be groomed there 02/02/14 which she had never been there before(was recommended by someone,and close to home).Dropped here off at 9am,called at 11:15 'cos she was supposed to be finished and the lady said she was taken longer would be about 20 more minutes.I drove on over & still waited 'til about 11:45.When she brought her out she said she had to scissor cut her 'cos she didn't have the right blade and it took a lot longer.I said "let me pay you extra",she refused.I had a doctor's apptmt. dropped Ebbi off home and left.Shihtzu's have huge pupils and you can't see the whites of their eyes very well;when I got home later in the evening,she jumped up to get on the bed and her right eye(the white area)had hemorrhaged.I pulled her eye lid up and there was an indention at least an 1/8 of an inch wide.I took her to [redacted];they did a scan to see if the damage was all the way thru the eye or just on front.Thank the Lord it was just on the front part.They gave me meds for her and I had to go back later for pain meds. She won't go near the bathroom now and jerks so badly just putting her in the car! I left a message on the phone at Pic A Pal to ask "what could have happened";no call back So the next day, I called back.The lady answered and said the groomer wasn't there.I asked did they get my message about Ebbi;she said the groomer didn't hear it and she'd have her to call me.She did call me the next day and studdered for 5 minutes saying she did't do anything to her and I told her I'd be there when they opened up which was today.During our conversation on Sunday she went over several things like she left her in the tub for a few minutes but she couldn't have gotten hurt in the tub,etc.But today,she denied the whole conversation!She copied the Vet bill,but said she wasn't going to pay for it 'cos she didn't do anything.Sir,she was fine when I dropped her off to be groomed and and came out of there with a severely injured eye.Desired Settlement: I asked the lady to pay for the vet bill and the meds-I think that's fair.She can't pay for the damage she's done to Ebbi!She's messed up worse than that lady knows!She won't even go into the bathroom in my house;that's why I think it had to do w/something near the tub at the pet store,but I wasn't there so I don't know.But I do know my dog is a total mess!What do I do now when I have to bathe her or it's time to groom her?
