My husband and I hired PIC to replace our old bathtub with a beautiful new soaking tub. The results are stunning and are the basis for our rating, but the sales process left an incredibly sour taste in our mouths. We met with someone who used incredibly base tactics and lies to get us to sign, and we believed her. Everyone else in the customer service process has been working hard to fix our concerns, however. Elaine in particular, as mentioned in other reviews has been especially helpful and responsive. The installation process was smooth and easy, and the installers very nice, so we are still very pleased with the results, but we are hoping our concerns will be addressed soon.

They came to the house, gave us a price 20+% lower than competitor. We paid deposit and financed rest. Work was scheduled for right after the new year and installed arrived on Friday for what we were told was a 2 day install. We replace our old bathtub with a shower and had all old tile covered with wainscoting. They also installed (purchased buy us) a new toilet, vanity and sink, new toilet paper holder and towel rack. Installers arrived at 10:00 AM and started immediately. They worked non stop till 10:00 PM that night (we were not asked if it was OK to continue to work that late. The new toilet paper holder, bath towel rail and matching robe hook arrived that day. We put the box on the dining room table and when it came time to install showed them box and they installed towel rail and holder. Did not install hook as we are painting the door and will install ourselves.
They finished up by 10 and we went and reviewed their work (we were all pretty tired by then) and they packed up and left. The next morning (Sat.) the loan company called to see if everything on the job was Ok. My husband said as far as we knew it was. Later that day we had a few concerns about the shower and sink. The installer stopped by and fixed/adjusted a few things. Later that day I was looking for the box with the robe hook (thought my husband put it somewhere) and it was nowhere to be found, or the box or came in. We called installer who said he would ask his partner and get back to us. Never heard back. We also discovered a floor tile broken and in several follow up emails asked about the broken tile, missing hook and how to replace the baseboard since they had sealed the wainscoting to it. To date we have not had a response to numerous emails.
We have discovered that once they have your money the lines of communication end.
They also took our 1960's turquoise toilet and sink they removed during the install without asking if we wanted to keep them.
Overall most of our interactions/ communications were good except once product was installed and thru received payment.
Their is one thing I'm a little concerned about, and won't know till down the road, is the RUSH to install in one day instead of 2 as agreed to. I imagine their maybe some financial incentive to the installers to finish in one day but, they should have discussed it with us first (they were at our home till 10:00 at night (we have a small house) and we won't know if in their rushing to complete the job fast quality of workmanship suffered. If it did, judging from their response right after receiving payment, we will most likely be out of luck.
After everything going so well previously it is a shame that their disregard in returning emails/phone calls once paid has ended the relationship on a sour note.

This company told us they were experts in mold removal We were scared for our young children leaving us thousands of dollars in debt refusing to help
We bought a new house and after about 6 months we thought we might have mold and called this company. They really scared us and said we have a serious mold problem. We have three young children. They talked us into buying a dehmumidefier that cost $2000 and a 10 year service guarantee .The final total was $6900 however after only 23 months after we called about concerns the mold had come back and the dehumidifier was improperly installed. We were told the company had turned into a remodeling company. They didn't do that work anymore ,they also changed their number. My wife was only able to find their new number through Facebook. Now we have a debt collection company threatening to put a lien on our house because we missed one payment .We didn't want to pay for services not rendered. The debt collection company is also threatening me it's going to effect my credit score .

I spoke with *** and clarified we did not have a service agreement in place but that we would take care of the issue for her family. *** is a wonderful person and we discussed that we would come out and do another assessment of the property and buy back the dehumidifier which would allow her to purchase a dehumidifier of her choice. We are also looking to provide them with a residential air purifier as a gift and at NO charge to them.

We are in agreement and will take care of this issue.

Being a widow I have been scammed by people claiming to help me with home repairs and then they disappear after the job is done and has fallen apart. Well PIC Home Pros LLC is not one of these companies. They are fantastic. The first time I spoke to John he immediately put my mind at ease. He came to my home twice and answered my questions. He even answered my calls to answer more. The two men that came to do the work new I was nervous and showed me every step and explained all the work to me before they did it. They were fantastic. Company has even called me to check in a few times. I cannot sing their praises enough. My co workers have all asked about them. They need 10 stars as far as I am concerned

FIVE STARS!! I had a great experience with this company. Elaine in the office was just so understanding of my very busy crazy schedule and trying to get this scheduled. Claude, the installer, was so professional and did such a PERFECT job. I am completely excited about my new bathroom, my 8 year old daughter even tends to go sit in there to play on her ipad (with her clothes on). Its become her private office when we aren't using it to shower. We love it, thank you so much to everyone!!! AMAZING!!

We recently had our bathtub and shower replaced by PIC Home Pros - everyone we have worked with there has been wonderful. Our salesperson, Dave went above and beyond he explained everything from process to pricing with us, Elaine who worked with us on scheduling was pleasant, easy to work with and answered all questions we had right away, and lastly the installer Claude was wonderful - he called the night before to make sure we were okay with the time he was planning to arrive, he arrived a couple minutes early and he not only did a beautiful job but he checked in with me on everything he thought might need to be done differently... he took alot of pride in his work and it shows! We are beyond pleased, and our new bathtub looks beautiful!

I was paralyzed and could no longer lift my legs high enough to get into my tub any longer. I had to go to rehab to learn how to walk again. I do now walk however.
I have never had to get anyone for anything I needed done as my previous husband did everything. So this was new to me. An agent came to my home to show samples. I hesitated quite a while on everything because it seemed way too high in price. Each time I hesitated he walked out of my house and into my yard to talk to someone at the company.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) At least $6000 to $7000 back. And I still have to pay 5 years on the remainder of $3000 I still owe Service Finance. I also would love to know the difference of the doors I ordered and the ones I actually got that I did not order. I also got no paperwork on this job.

I did like the looks of the shower.Did not think the price was right,so I really started checking things out.I never got an estimate for this same project for over $2000.00.
And I never signed any forms of completion at all.
All I was,was threatened by Yvonne that she would put a lien on my property if she didn't get $3000.00 TODAY.There was no call for such rudeness and threats from her.Also her letter stated that there would be no warranty or financing.
That was a lie as I had already talked to 2 people at the finance company.
We also had no water when we finally got the doorsThey weren,t even the ones I ordered.
I have no paperwork to go back too.
Their agent was pushy and almost threatening.If I did not order today the company said he would not be back again. What would you think

My Boyfriend and I mistakenly filed a complained instead of a review on the site when we had a miscommunication about an order we had requested. Hired PIC Home pros to replace my bathroom and paidin full. Never get calls, or returned emails and no installation after a month.
Original contract complete-by date of March 8th, completely ignored. Days and weeks go by with no communication, I have to call repeatedly an from multiple phone numbers for them to answer the phone. The owner blames this on two employees (sales person Ryan, and proruction manager Joe) and two other employees pporoved the project (Kate and Jerome). Aggressive and hostile, no installation service offered or provided, had equiment shipped to their location and now will have to acquire this product from them and start over with another company, meanwhile I have had no usable bathroom with extensive water damage and can not get a straight answer or response from this company.

Desired Outcome

I need delivery for the materials sent to their business address and a formal apology for: 1. Being rudely handled 2. being pressure to pay in full for a project they couldnt handle and spending WEEKS chasing after them to get any kind of response 3. Financial compensation for any damage incurred as a result of water damage not being properly addressed since March 8th

These guys are great...not affiliated with any franchise (a plus in my book), certified and give certificate upon completion of work (per tough NH standards)...very detailed and thorough presentation, responsive to multiple contacts with questions by email, text before and after contracting. Helps for single homeowner who has to make these big decisions. Thank you!!

This company is a fraud and should be shut down by the state. They aren't true mold Remediators. They tell you what you want to hear and then once contract is signed they do extremely poor work actually missing half the problem and spreading mycotoxins throughout your home. There is zero supervision and it's just a bunch of young men doing the work and they unfortunately know nothing about the seriousness of toxic mold. The owner Anthony is a horrible human being and doesn't make sure his customer is safe. Truly blows my mind that they are still open for business meanwhile making their poor customers sicker. If you have mold in your home and you don't know much about it do yourself a favor and research everything! Mold can kill you

Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience that you may have suffered during the process of removing mold from your home. The realization that you are living with mold in your home is very scary and emotionally charged especially when you recognize it has been making you and everyone in your home sick. Mold removal is not an exact science, there are many variables to consider. As you know the nature of mold is such that it can sometimes be hard to pinpoint the source (or sources) making it very difficult for its complete eradication initially.

PIC Home Pros strives to completely eliminate all the mold and identify its sources in an efficient manner the first time every time. Our employees are highly trained and hold many indoor air quality certifications. Unfortunately, mold is so insidious, and employees are human which can sometimes make the process very complicated. Again, our goal is to "get it right" the first time but when this doesn't happen, our prime concern is to go above and beyond to make it right as we so obviously did in your case. We have a stellar reputation. Our company is founded on the belief that the measure of our integrity is not in never having any issues (that would be foolish as it is impossible) but in the way that we handle the problems and the final result.

From the moment that we learned of the situation at your house, we set out to correct it immediately by fixing the original problem. When subsequent issues were found that were not identified in the original scope (which can happen when we begin to open things up) we took care of those FREE of charge. Additionally, at our initial inspection of your property, you were told that the existing vapor barrier was contaminated, not sufficient and not installed or sealed correctly and was a leading factor in the microbial growth present in your home. We strongly recommended that you replace it with commercial grade vapor barrier because of the potential for recontamination and moisture penetration but you declined due to cost. When we returned to complete the additional work, we installed brand new, high quality 14 mil vapor barrier ($5000 value) FREE of charge. We were happy to provide a COMPLIMENTARY hotel (of your choice) stay for almost a week to protect you from exposure. We stayed in touch with you through numerous check ins during the entire process by office staff, project managers and technicians as well as via the owner's personal cell phone where he could be reached 24 hours a day.

Unfortunately, the "mold inspector" (indoor air quality testing company) that you hired weeks later, and remitted a large sum of money to, may have used you as a pawn in a retaliation effort against our company. Very recently we were involved in a remediation where this tester was asked not to return to the property by the homeowner. This was due to her escalating requests for more money as a result of her continual uncovering of additional "areas of concern" which caused the homeowner to become suspicious of her motivations. This, in addition to the fact that she would only identify issues but could not offer any solutions to remedy them. Despite this conflict, we continued to work tirelessly on your remediation solely because it was in your best interest. In the end, as you know, we passed her testing standards with "flying colors" (her words.) We also independently hired another testing company to ensure that we had completed a thorough remediation for our own peace of mind and, of course, we passed that test as well. It is because of this commitment to our customers that we are very well respected by numerous industrial hygienists in the industry.

There is a lot of fear that comes with hearing "you have mold in your home." We understand. We have children, husbands, wives, parents and pets that live and breathe the air in our own houses every day. Our highest priority at every job is to treat your home like it is our home. We do whatever it takes to restore the health of the air in your home. It may take longer than expected, we may encounter problems that we could not foresee but we will ALWAYS fix the problem. ALWAYS.

Ms. and Mr., we are truly sorry that you do not feel that we made it right for you despite the facts. Mr., we spoke with you roughly every other day during the process at which time you indicated that you were very pleased with the progress. When the job was completed, you also told us that you were "100 percent satisfied" with the work that had been done and the post test results. Your word is the only measure that we can use to ensure we have made things right for you. We were completely blindsided and disappointed by the negative review Ms. chose to post weeks later.

We are, however, very happy that you will be welcoming your new precious baby to a healthy home. Congratulations and best wishes! Thank You.

PIC Home Pros LLC did a large job at my home that included waterproofing and a mold remedy. The technicians that came into my home were very qualified and I can not express enough how hard working and diligent they were to get the work done right in a timely and efficient manner. They had to go in and out through my home as I do not have a bulkhead, they covered the floors and walls and treated my home with care as not to damage anything. We thought we would never be able to utilize our basement again and now we can. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I can not begin to tell you how pleased we are with PIC Home pros . To start they explained step by step as to what was going to be done as far as the set up and cleaning process . My In laws are in their 70s and my sister in law is mentally and physically handicap the guys were beyond sensitive to their needs and did an amazing job at trying not to disrupt my SIL daily routine . Over all everyone at PIC Home pros went out of their way to help us in any way they could and we are beyond grateful they turn a nightmare into a pleasant experience.

Very buttoned up company to say the least. Very knowledgeable about all aspects of "basement health". The technician spent a solid 2 hours with us (he made sure both my wife and I were present for the appointment as it was going to be VERY thorough). Explained all the options available for our water issue and was careful to explain the pros can cons of each along with the expense involved. Not only did he take us through the options available but he had an eye for something else.......our radon mitigation system. Because of the size of our basement he thought it would wise for me to get it tested again as the fan might not be pulling enough from the ground. Told me to go spend the 20 bucks at the hardware store, get a test kit just for assurance (which of course we did).
We felt we had the right company for the job right then and there. I asked him to take a look at some funny looking spots on my joists as they were discolored in some areas. He had some testing material with him and sure enough it was mold. Not a terrible issue, didn't scare us or anything but suggested getting rid of it as it might or might not be dormant. Again, we had the right "basement" people, glad he spent the time with us, we learned a ton. We moved forward with PIC Home Pro's, set a date and time for work to begin. As we got to the finish line however something very unexpected happened with my finances and was now unable to have the work done. PIC took the time to understand our situation and offered to work with us. I can't thank them enough for their understanding, patience and most importantly their professionalism. I will recommend them to my friends and family, they are accountable, they respond, they do what they say they will do! What more can you ask for from a contractor.

I wanted to convey my appreciation for the outstanding work your PIC Home Pros employees performed on my basement project. Cicero and all of the workers; Robson, Davison & Salvo were extremely professional. I was very appreciative in their meticulous approach and their attention to keeping any dust contained to the work area. The clean up was remarkable. Your carpentry and plaster crew of Mike & John was also outstanding. Certainly a plus for PIC Home Pros to have a turn key solution. Can't say enough positives about your company and, of course, the people that make the experience so positive.

I had a major leak in my bedroom and had a feeling that there would be mold in my room. I emailed PIC on a Monday, I think at like 9:30 at night and Anthony got back to me THAT night asking when they could come and take a look at my problem. We set up a time where Jeff would come take a look when I would be home from work. On my way home on the day chosen, Jeff called me to let me know he was running really early and would it be ok to start before I was home. As my dad sometimes doesn't understand things like this, and I would be paying, I asked if he minded waiting for me. Absolutely no problem he said. When he arrived right on time, I brought him to the basement where my room is. Right off he showed me where the problem was, and not even just in my room. He pointed out that it was way too humid downstairs and due to that, it let other mold problems happen. I was shocked!
When we got down to numbers, that was my one concern given that the problem was worse than I thought. He said he would work with him. He called Anthony and asked if we could do a payment plan. They were great in helping my dad and I apply for a payment plan. I did admit to Jeff that I did have another company coming to look the next day, however after reading all the positive reviews about this company, I cancelled my next appointment immediately.
They fit us in on an emergency basis and the first day David called and let us know when they would be arriving. The two guys that came the first day were great and said they would mark my clothes in special bags so nothing got thrown away. I asked them to be mindful of my moms urn that I had in my room
And they were very careful.
I will definitely be using this company again if needed.
