There was no set price, as this customer was being charged hourlyHer price was dependent on how much she wanted us to doI can send a copy of the receipt, stating it was a booking fee, to whoever wants itAlso, not that this was brought up in this 2nd complaint, but the reason her box spring wasn't brought upstairs was because it wouldn't fitI also have phone recordsThey clearly show my foreman [redacted] calling her multiple times in a day spanI am on vacation until next weekIf you need anything, I will be able to get it to whoever wants it once I'm backThanks

During this move, we advised this client that some of her pieces would not go where she wanted them to go safely There were some tight hallways and narrow stairways She told us that she didn't care about some minor damage, but we had to get her pieces whee she needed them to be We advised against it, but she wanted it done After the move, she walked around the house with the foreman to make sure everything was done to her satisfaction, and she even signed the paper stating that she had done that After a few days, she called me and said there was some damage Keep in mind that she had walked through the entire house with my foreman and there was no damage at that point But because I am a nice guy, I wanted to help I told her I had a friend that did hardwood floors and I can probably get him to give her a good price I never said I would pay for it.She proceeded to email and call me excessively over a day period, at which point I politely asked her to give me a few days to get in touch with my friend She continued to call and expected him to come immediately I informed her that he is very busy and he would get back to her within a week She didnt like that answer

To respond to this complaint....This was the 2nd time this customer used usThe 1st time, I gave her $off because the guys were a little lateThis time, there was a tv left on the truckIt was an old inch tube tvWe meant to get it back the day after the move, but the guys were working until 10pmThey had an almost hour rain delayThe very next day, the customer went away, and we couldnt get it back to her until she returnedIt says in her complaint that she was going awayIt wasnt like she left because she didnt have her tube tvThe $is a bookinf fee, charged to all clientsThe same fee was charged to her the 1st time she used usI sent her an email with the receipt stating that it was a booking feeThank you

As I stated, I've only sent one checkHe informed me that he didn't receive it, while I was in Florida on vacationI explained to him that when I got back, I'd send another checkBefore I even got back, he filed this complaintAlso, I have the calls recorded from all of our discussionsI'm happy to resend the check for $If that's what he wants still, please let me knowThanks

We were extremely pleased with this moving companyWe have moved a number of times with various results from moving companiesThere are several reasons we would (and have) recommended Piccolo'sFirst and over the phone quote was quite helpfulThe result (due to my over estimate of the amount to be moved) was a bill below the quoted amountBut more importantly, the movers called as they were on the way and arrived when agreed uponThey worked quickly, professionally and treated our furniture as though it was their ownThe crew that did the work was polite and willing to answer any questions we hadThey packed, unpacked, reassembled and placed our furniture exactly where we wantedIn one case I had miscalculated the size of one of the rooms and we needed to change the furniture configuration - they did this willingly and did not make me feel as though I was imposing upon them All in all, we were so pleased that we have just booked them for our next move which will be in a couple of monthsWe most definitely recommend this company!!!

These guys were great! I'm not one to normally take the time to leave a review, but I just had to in this situation I am not sure I have ever dealt with a more honest and fun group of guys in my lifetime From the moment I spoke with Jeff the owner, I had a good feeling, even though my previous moving experience was a disaster The guys were on time, and even called minutes early to let me know they would be at my house shortly We had extra stuff, due to not being able to sell some of it, and they didn't balk for even a minute They way they protected my furniture and packed the truck was simply amazing! The most amazing part was that there was a hold up at the move in address because of a delay in closing, of over hours, and I didn't hear a single complaint The owner called me during the delay, and I expected him to tell me there was going to be some kind of crazy extra charge he didn't say that at all He actually calmed me down during a time where I was getting very stressed out I wouldn't hesitate recommending these guys to friends and/or family Thanks again for a great job!!!

I am rejecting this response because: I did not move twice I moved once, on July 17th, The company did not call me the next day as the owner statedI called them on 7/21/ My phone records show this I also did not receive an email stating it was a booking fee The owner did not take $off--I was quoted at $total for the move when it was scheduled and my total was $ I understand it was an "old tv" but it is the only item I have of my deceased grandmother's I am continuing to ask for the booking fee to be refunded

On a day that seemed destined to be a nightmare(our scheduled movers didn't show at all), Jeff was able to get a crew together for us in less than hours! We had a lot to move as wellAll three (if I'm remembering their names correctly: Micah, brian, bob; sorry if I spelled your name wrong or am remembering incorrecrly) were EXTREMELY professional, personable, and had great senses of humorI have never reviewed a good or a service before but after today I just simply cannot express how impressed I was with these guysThese guys will always be the movers I go to if I ever need to move againNot only that I will always recommend them to anyone that needs to moveI was just blown away by this company!

Buyers BEWARE!! Jeff Piccolo comes off very professional; however, he never answers his phone - always calls backWe had Piccolo's move some furniture in AugustDuring the move the movers damaged the wall going up the stair case - they pointed this out right awaySince they seemed sincere we ended up telling Jeff to give us a $credit and we would take care of the repairsThat part went well - the crew was courteous and appreciative of the tip we gave themAfter they left we discovered damage to or leather love seatWe immediately contacted Jeff - he told us to send him some picturesBased on the photos we sent Jeff told us to obtain a quote for a repairI asked Jeff about his insurance and he stated that he has a $deductible so he would most likely not submit it to his insuranceWe received an estimate of $1200, after many emails, phone calls, message left, etcJeff got back to us and wanted to get a second opinion, we agreedAt this point the return emails and phone calls from Jeff were few and far between - although several times he stated he is a man of his word and since "this isn't life or death - what's the rush", I am on vacation, etcAfter more weeks went by we contacted our lawyer who sent Jeff an email correspondence - no one seems to know his addressAfter a week Jeff emailed to say that he had a death in the family and he would be in touch - never heard from him againUnfortunately our lawyer recommended we do not waste our money in small claims court because while we would certainly win the claim (we have all of the emails and voice messages from Jeff) - in all likely hood based on the actions to date - we would never receive any moneyWhen searching for a mover we saw negative and positive reviews about Piccolos - the reason being - if nothing goes wrong and there is no damage it’s a positive experienceWe experienced what the other negative reviews stated - we had issues and Piccolo never resolved themDo not be fooled like I was
