Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

We had agreed to the check that Mrs [redacted] had agreed upon and received a letter, all that the letter stated was that we would see the check by mid April. We had not heard anything, all the letters that we have sent have been certified mail and tracked. We know when she is receiving them. I am trying to resolve this situation person to person, not to anything further. We had the intention of having a litter for our children to care for, now we cannot do this. It is clear to me that Mrs [redacted] is not very educated on the animals that she loves so much. You CANNOT over exercise a pup into hip dysplasia and or arthritis specifically advanced stages at the age of five months. Nor can this be brought on by their diet, this is a genetic disorder that is bred into dogs. Not intentionally but hereditary and genetic none the less. If she is such a caring breeder and loves these animals so much and only breeds two litters a year she really needs to take a look into what she is doing. We have not only had one vet check this dog but an additional vet and also an ortho specialist. If she loved these dogs so much she would have her dogs checked to prevent any pain and suffering that these animals are undoubtedly going to go through. We really didn't want to have to go this far but I as an advocate for my animals and the breed am not going to stand for someone breeding these animals for financial gain not for love. So obviously if we are not receiving a check then she will hold her end of the contract up and give us a pup. The fact that she doesn't feel comfortable with giving us another puppy is absolutely ridiculous. Our dogs are very well cared for and we have the vet documentation to prove it and the fact that she would insinuate anything else disgusts me.  I am not happy with this situation and will continue to fight for what is right for these animals. Because of this breeder we know exactly what to look for in a breeder and what to stay away from. IF anything we are being very generous, in Indiana animals are considered property as seen in a court of law. We have given plenty of time for response and have allowed Mrs [redacted] her space and privacy.

I have attached a copy of our puppy contract. This is given to all people that buy a dog from us. We are not a "big breeder" We might have 2 or 3 litters a year if that. All of our pups are seen by our vet and given a clean bill of...

health before they are sent home to their new owners. I understand that things do pop up, just like in humans and any other species that we cant help or prevent. Which is why I do offer a guarantee. The mother and father of Mr. [redacted] dog are both in excellent health, all of the other pups in her litter are in excellent health, along with her passed litter. There are a lot of things that could have lead to the issue Mr. [redacted] is having with his dog. For example poor nutrition, over exercised at an early age, a diet which it to high in protein, an injury, extc I did speak with Mr. [redacted] and informed him of these things and also advised him that she was to young to do any "major" surgery like what he was told to do. I offered other options and did tell him that I would honor my contract and give him a replacement puppy out of our next available litter even though I didn't agree with some of the decisions he was making. Mr. [redacted] told me didn't want a replacement puppy he wanted me to pay him cash, even though he agreed and signed a contract which states I am not responsible for vet bills. Mr. [redacted] told me that if I gave him a replacement puppy he was just going to resell the puppy which I am not comfortable with. We take great pride in our dogs and we want to make sure they go to the best homes possible! I did offer to refund Mr. [redacted] $300 (which goes above and beyond, because I didn't want him to sell one of our pups to god knows who) He asked me to send him that in writing (which I did do) and I have not heard anything from him until I received the letter from you guys. At this point I really feel like I am being scammed and don't feel conferrable sending any money to him and don't feel like I should have to. Again I feel like I have gone above and beyond trying to make him happy and not really sure at this point what else I can do since he doesn't want the replacement pup we offered. Please feel free to email me back or call if you have any further questions. I'm really not sure what happens from this point on but I am very concerned about this and would greatly appreciate a follow up email or call to explain what happens from here.
Thank you very much for help with this matter and I look forward to hearing from you!
