In Nov customer and Falcon Collision Repair agreed to a $4,price for body work to panels and a complete paint job
to a ChevelleCustomer provided $3,down payment towards repairsAt the same time customer also inquired about sandblasting his car which we advised him that we could provide him a price once we could obtain a cost for this as this was not a service we provideThis service was not included in the original $4,estimateA couple weeks passed *** we called customer letting him know the cost to sandblast his car would be an additional $He gave us the ok to proceed with this serviceOnce the sandblasting was complete an extensive amount of rust was discovered on both quarter panelsWe advised customer that the easiest/quickest way to rectify the rust would be to replace both quarter panels due to the extent of the rustCustomer advised he didn't have additional money for more partsWe advised him that we could repair it but the labor to weld would be another $1,approximately (and this is a VERY LOW price as we were trying to help the customer out) and he would need to bring the pieces of sheet metal for us to weld to the quartersHe still tried to haggle w/ us and asked if he could perform the welding repairs (customer has experience doing this type of work) himself to save himself the add'l costWe reluctantly agreedCustomer showed up for day and did minimal work and brought another piece (deck filler) for us to weld to the vehicle (an additional cost that I think customer believes we will absorb or not charge him for)After that customer didn't show up again as he injured himself at his workplace and we were again left with the car and no additional money or approval from the customer to proceed with the rust repairsCustomer shows up at our shop months after his recovery from his injury trying to put pressure on us to get his car completedWe attempted to explain to him about the additional cost and he didn't want to talk about it as he kept saying he has a child on the way and he didn't have anymore money to spend on the repairsWe went ahead and began repairing the quarters the best we could with the material customer providedOnce the rust repairs are complete we plan on returning the vehicle to the customer as he is unwilling to pay for any additional work (paint job)

No my case has not been resolved with Falcon Collision and I do not accept their responseToday September 8th I received a response from the Bureau of Automotive RepairThe agent at the bureau told me Falcon Collision has agreed to finish the repairs on the body and paint my Chevelle at no further cost to meThis time the car is scheduled to be complete on September 17th I need more time to respond, the deadline of September 9th for my response is not enoughIf the car is completed as they say painted red with the black stripes the case will be resolvedIf it is not I have plenty more to add
I believe Falcon Collision will be a stand up company but to me that is yet to be determinedAs I stated earlier my case has not yet been resolved
I will respond further accordingly
