My rewards card was stamped INCORRECTLY, marking a discount I DID NOT useRepresentative from PP called me and asked me what I felt was fair to compensate this error, I asked for UNMARKED rewards cardI was mailed a rewards card that was marked and further more still had marked a discount I DID NOT use making it the same as I valid as my previous cardThe issue is NOT resolved

Review: I actually took pics at the Brookfield location. It's not in the system so I chose Mayfair but it's the same company. I'm a portrait club member. I took my baby in for her 1 year photo shoot. I used my memebership and received some free pics. I also wanted the photo CD. The girl was nice but only informed me about ONE CD the high resolution CD. She NEVER mentioned they have a photo share CD which is much CHEAPER!!! I didn't specifically ask for high res. I'm not a techy person. The view and share CD meets my needs. I only found out about it when I went to the website to let them know I was missing a photo sheet. My membership offered 6 free sheets. I only got 5 which was on my receipt. It was around Labor Day so I went the very next busienss day with the CD(untouched not used) and wanted to exchange. The manger on duty said she would have to call her manger for approval. She said CD's are non refundable which I was NEVER told that either. I still wanted the CD just not the $100 one. The other one was only $35! The manger didn't call back while I was in the store. She called back a day or two later and said they could offer me 3 additional photo sheets. I wasn't satisified with that offer. So I went back to the website and notified her boss who gets the messages that I wanted a refund. I also asked for the contact info for the owner/CEO of the business. It's been over a week now and I haven't heard a single word from her boss! I should have been given the options of CD's available so I could make my own informed decision rather than being offered the highest product to make a sales quota. I think it's unprofessional for the boss to NOT get back to me with contact info for the CEO of the business.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded ASAP!!!!

Review: At my visit I overheard a salesperson/photographer trying to upsell a customer, they promised that they were able to use the $18 bundle package coupon along with their $10 discount that is featured as a membership exclusive (printed on the member card) I was always denied this. When I approached the cashier to try to utilize my coupon and discount I was turned down. After repeating myself over and over WITH the very same salesperson/photographer standing right there who had JUST said this was possible the supervisor on shift finally agreed to honor it. Then for the first time in my 9 months of visiting monthly, the same cashier punched my 30% specialty discount and I didn't even use it!

To begin with she was trying to upsell me everything, then offered me a $30 frame that and I quote, "Only I can offer you this price" then she didn't want to honor the discount AND coupon and now she's marking discounts I never even used!!! I feel taken advantage of and as this is a personal attack because I did not feed into any of her up sell. This is UNETHICAL behavior! Your business has no clear rules that customers can refer to in regards to what you can or can not do with discounts and coupons. Your rules (the very few) are vague and give too much leeway for employees to pick and choose who they will favor and who they will overcharge.Desired Settlement: I want an unmarked membership card. I was marked something I did not use and they just wrote UNUSED any other salesperson will not accept this as its not even initialed by the supervisor!!

I was mailed a rewards card that was marked and further more still had marked a discount I DID NOT use making it the same as I valid as my previous card. The issue is NOT resolved.

Review: We originally took picture at picture people at 2013. However the picture (over 1000 value)never been received. After they reopened the business, I immediately find them and they said they lost the picture.

The manager Akim promise me to give back the full refund. However, After ten month from he promised, I still didn't see the check. I called store at least 15 times and visit store couple times. every time they have some excuses. for example, only the head office can issue check , head office don't have a phone number, only the store can call them , the head office need processing 2 month for the refund; the head office couldn't mail the check to the store directly, the check has been bounce back........so , after 10 month, they still didn't give me the refund.Desired Settlement: give me the full refund

penalty for lost our picture and delay to give back refund for 10 month.

Review: I paid for a CD with the pictures from my photo session with Picture People and it had only one of the 10 photos I was promised. I asked that the photos be emailed or sent but they are unwilling to do so.Desired Settlement: I would really just like my photos but if not I would like a refund.

Review: Picture People had advertised a share and view CD on their website; which in the past I have purchased twice.

In Nov 2014 they told me they no longer offer this product which is advertised on their Website.

Today I noticed that the product is still listed so I inquired at the Ross location they told me that they never offered this product - I told them it is listed on your website and that that I purchased it twice from this location, they said that they would talk to corporate.

I also called the Robinson location and they said that they have not offered the product for over a year.

This is false advertisement and can be used to lure individuals into the business. If the product has not been offered for over a year it should be removed from their list of available products. I also email the company to let them know that this service should be removed.Desired Settlement: I would like this removed from the website if the service/product is no longer available. If the product is available at select locations; the specif locations should be noted. Otherwise the company should have to provide the service that it advertises at the price it advertises.

Review: On April 9, my wife ([redacted]) had a photo session and used our "Portrait Rewards Card" (which was originally purchased in December). The sales rep., [redacted], asked about scheduling another session and discussed the benefit of a free high definition CD of that session which would be available via the rewards card. My wife asked if she could schedule it on April 14th & [redacted] said absolutely, and verified that we would get the rewards card benefit. We ended up having to cancel that session & reschedule to April 17th at 8:30pm. At the session, we presented the rewards card & completed the photo shoot. It happened that [redacted] was the person to review the pictures for purchase. We selected the pictures, then [redacted] informed us that we could not use the card twice in a month. We said that she was the one who booked it & said we would qualify for the benefit. Her response was, "I thought you looked familiar. I am sorry you can't, but you can go online from your phone and get a coupon." We ended up spending $93 with the coupon when we expected to spend half of that. [redacted] apologized again & gave us a free photo sheet, but informed us there was nothing else she could do.

I called the next day & was informed a Manager would call me back. This did not happen. I followed up with a message via the company website , requesting a call back. This, also did not occur. I sent a 2nd message via the company site on April 23rd requesting a call, but still have not received such.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the funds we paid for the service on April 17, a refund for the purchase of the rewards card, a second complimentary photo session (so we can obtain the pictures we could not during the April 17 session), and a formal apology; however, Picture People can begin by actually providing me with a phone call by the Store Manager.

Review: 2 Sundays ago I took my 7 week old and my 7 year old for their first photo session at The Picture People in Dover, Delaware. This should have been a happy and memorable event. It was memorable, but far from happy.

We arrived and had to wait close to 35 minutes for our scheduled session. Finally [redacted], the studio manager takes us back to a room and begins our session. She had a lack of energy/enthusiasm that you expect from The Picture People. She was also lacking in ideas for poses (mind you my children were both very cooperative and in great moods). She was saying how hard these ages are, she wasn't sure "what to do with them", trying to think of something, etc... I started offering ideas for poses, because she kept doing almost the same pose for every shot. She was horrible with communicating to my 7 year old and instead of showing him what to do or reiterating what to do she just kept giving the same hard to follow instructions over and over. She was rushing and seemed to be annoyed with him and my baby.

I finally asked for a new photographer that would be more experienced with their ages, since she seemed to find it "hard". I also told her I was not liking the poses I was seeing. She told me (with a lot of attitude) that she was the most experienced in the studio and continued on without so much as offering to reschedule.

Soon after she decided to place my 7 week old into a suit case prop (from the studio). Once she placed her in there she started screaming. I tried to offer her a binky to soothe her, and finally picked her up , as she was not having it. Once I was holding her we saw blood dripping down from her foot. After inspecting I found a slice on her left foot and looked at the suit case prop to find sharp razor thin exposed metal right at the opening of this suit case. Horrified I called her physician while cleaning her foot as best as I could to see if we needed a tetanus shot.

The photographer offered a band aid, then said she would be doing an incident report, but wanted to continue the session. I told her we would be ending the session, and I wanted the number to corporate in addition to the report being filed. She explained she had no number to hand out, and I could go to the company website to the "contact us" portion and that is how corporate gets their info.

After almost 40 minutes (the mall was closing at this point) I was offered a package of pictures for free and a cd. She told me she wasn't allowed "per policy" to let me have a copy of the incident report and wanted to call security to escort me out.

I had to ask for the district managers name and number, (to which I have contacted and no reply) and was told I would be contacted by corporate.

So far I was contacted by the insurance company on the following Monday afternoon. I wrote to corporate thru the "contact us" on their website and have still not received an answer. I also visited their facebook page and wrote a post asking for them to contact me, and a private message to the facebook page. No reply to either.

I am appalled by their lack of concern in this matter. This is not a small complaint, it is a serious safety issue, and it seems that they could care less.Desired Settlement: I feel we deserve an apology, and answers to my correspondence. I also feel that we should be provided with free sessions/photos to attempt to re capture the moments that I originally wanted. The suit case prop, along with all other props to be inspected for safety hazards and thrown away if they have even a small cause for concern. I am horrified with their lack of concern.
