Picture Perfect Construction & Painting

What a joke, stay away from this company. The will not finish the job. From now on I will ask for references which in all probability will be fake anyway. Not a noble profession.

Review: this guy is operating under "picture perfect construction & painting. called and had him rebuild a closet for me......bad from get go....never covered my bed or any furniture in there....tore out wall....dust everywhere. installed bi-fold closet doors...put knobs on wrong.....put hole in wall in other bedroom.....closet is crooked.....doors and wall as well. lies...doesn't come to work...doesn't call.....took my money.....stole my paint that I paid for.....didn't finish job at all. have crown molding in bedroom....before he started said he was going to have to make really hard cut with it....turned out he lied....he then said he was not a crown molding man....he would call his guy.....which He never did....bedroom still a mess and not completed want my $900.00 back. had homer owners adjuster out for different reason....he said I definitely should file claim against his insurance for shotty work. he said he was bitten by spider and was in hospital....had the nerve to go In my medicine cabinet and use peroxide and band-aids......without asking...then told me he used them....what a piece of work.....BEWARE....CASH ONLY....I AM FILING CHARGED WITH MAGISTRATE AS WELL. walls that weren't worked on were a mess....covered with grease and white plaster....I said not happy with he said "that happens" [redacted]##....it didn't look like that before he started.....wood and plaster ALL OVER FLOOR.....never ran vacuum. Very dissatisfied....I said I wasn't happy...he never said A WORD. THEN text ed I was going to magistrate....said he would fix and or give me money back...never did I text-ed him again....told me I was lying and not to text again I was harassing him....good luck and see you in court....I responded see you in court. am pursuing this to the MAX....WHAT A SG.Desired Settlement: JUST WANT MY MONEY REFUNDED AND COURT COSTS PAID.

Review: [redacted] rebuilt a chimney for me in December of 2012, and he did a great job. But in January of 2014, I had called [redacted] Gas regarding a gas leak in my basement. They checked my appliances and detected carbon monoxide coming from my hot water heater. The tech from [redacted] Gas opened a part of the chimney that was in my basement because of a potential block. He cleaned out the dirt that had accumulated in the chimney and went to relight the hot water heater, but the exhaust continued to flow back into the house. [redacted] Gas then proceeded to pull out the exhaust pipe from the hot water heater to the chimney because of other blockage. When the pipe was pulled from the wall, there was cement from my rebuilt chimney that was blocking the exhaust from escaping. At that point the [redacted] Gas tech started to chisel away at the cement so that the hot water heater would be able to have sufficient ventilation so he didnt have to red-tag me and shut me down. Later that evening, I called [redacted] with Picture Perfect/Chimney King to let him know what was going on, since he was the one that done the work on the chimney. I explained to him that some of the cement had fallen down into the chimney and was blocking the ventilation of the hot water heater. He told me that he was going on vacation and asked me to contact him in two weeks about coming out to clean out the chimney. I contacted him and he has been putting it off and had not gotten back to me with a time to clean it out. I contacted him again 2/23/14 to inquire about it, and he told me that he was doing me a favor (helping me out) by doing it for free. He said that it would be an addition cost to come out to clean out the chimney. I explained to him that I thought that was part of the cleanup. He told me no and to call any chimney repair and ask them. At [redacted] request to call a service, I called [redacted] and spoke with [redacted] regarding my dilemma. [redacted] said that cleaning up the cement in the chimney would be part of the cleanup. Had [redacted] from the very beginning explain all of this to me, that some of the cement would fall into the chimney, I would have asked about cleaning it out. [redacted] at [redacted] told me that [redacted] should have explained this to me from the very beginning. This is not my fault for [redacted] miscommunication; he is the contractor and should know of such things.Desired Settlement: I would like him to come clean the cement out of the chimney at no charge, which I consider part of the cleanup. There would be no need to tear down walls or require materials. If he does not agree, I will hire a chimney sweep company and bill him back for the cost, which would include taking him to the Magistrate, where he could acquire additional costs.

Review: CONSTRUCTION TO ENLARGE CLOSET....HORRIBLE JOB...PUT BIFOLD DOORS ON WITH DOOR HANDLES IN WRONG PLACE.....PUT HOLE IN WALL....VERY MESSY,SLOPPY.....TOOK MY MONEY AND DIDN'T COMPLETE JOB.....CASH ONLY.......NO CHECKS....SOUNDS FRAUDLENT....I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN.......VERY POOR WORK.....WENT IN MY MEDICINE CABINET WITHOUT ASKING FOR PEROXIDE AND BANDAID.....MOST PEOPLE WOULD ASK...NOT [redacted].. UP....JUST HORRIABLE.....BEWARE. CLEAN UP BAD...LEFT WOOD DROPPING AND PLASTER ALL OVER EVERYTHING...NEVER COVERED ANY FURNITURE...LIES....DOESNT SHOW UP FOR WORK AND DOESN'T CALL......A NIGHTMARE. DIDNT PUY CROWN MOLDING BACK UP OR PUT ROD IN CLOSET.....HOME OWNER INSPECTOR SAID I SHOULD DEFINATELY FILE COMPLAINT FOR SHOTTY WORK COULDNT BELIEVE THE MESS.Desired Settlement: WANT MY MONEY BACK FOR SHOTTY WORK....HAVE A MILLION PICTURES OF SCREWUPS.....HAD HOME OWNERS ADJUSTER LOOK AT WORK AND SAID I NEED TO FILE CLAIM...HE COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. MY HOUSE IS TOTAL CHOAS DUE TO THIS IT.....I SHOULD HAVE NEVER PAID HIM....SO UPSET WAS HAVING COMPANY COME....WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE A FEW DAYS HAS TURNED TO 2 WEEKS AND STILL NOT DONE.
