6 The driver / supervisor told me the girlfriend who hired us was extremely intoxicated , and panicking about the cost of the move. My driver told me they had to hand carry everything down the stairs to the parking lot to be hooked up with dollies. The girlfriend , and mother were dragging furniture to the door to hurry up the move. My driver told me he had to mention to the girlfriend 2 times to be careful with the floors, because she was dragging heavy furniture. Mr. [redacted] was not present on the move. I made arraignments to view the damaged floors. Upon my evaluation I determined my guy's were in fact correct there was no way they used dollies in the unit, and upon further inspection I found many large wholes, missing pieces of flooring throughout apt. My floor guy stated he couldn't believe they were trying to come after me for dollie wheel damage cause it was obvious there was only a one line smear not 2 lines indicative of a dollie, and that frankly he thought they were trying to replace all the floors on my dime. After Mr [redacted] started harassing my clients I refused to deal with him , and elected to only deal with the property manager. I immediately began dialogue with Mrs. [redacted] I told her the circumstance , and that I did not accept liability , but would be willing to get my floor guy in to clean, and buff floors before their new tenant moved in that following week. I did not hear back from the property manager for another 2 weeks. I received an email saying they do not want to have the floors buffed. They requested that all the floors in the unit be replaced. This is unreasonable and we feel we have tried to come to a fair resolution even though we know we are not liable for the damages to the floor we still tried to make it right.   Thanks,         [redacted], Owner Piece By Peace Moving Company
