Review: I contacted the company in regards to our washing machine because it was not completing the spin cycle. On 6/26/2015 a technician by the name of David Kiss came to our house to take a look at our Fisher & Paykel washing machine and said that it needed a new pump. I gave him a check in the amount of $310.00, which was $185.00 for the cost of the pump and $125.00 for labor. He came back on 6/30/2015 to fix it and when he was done, he said to try it to make sure it's working. The machine powered on for about 30 seconds and after that we could not get any power, it simply would not power on. After trying to figure out what it could be that is causing it not to power on, he said he wasn't too familiar with that brand so he called a fellow technician who is "more experienced", and assured me that the technician would be back the next morning (Wednesday July 1st) between the hours of 8am-9am. I waited the next morning and no one showed up and no one called. When I called about 9:30 am to see where the technician was, I was told that they were trying to get one and that they would call me back. No one called, no one showed up. I kept calling and texting, to no response. The next morning (Thursday July 2nd), I get a call saying that a technician would be there by 2pm and they would call when on their way, again no one showed up. I kept calling, no one answered. I sent a text and was told that they are swamped today but they are coming, they're 45min to an hour away. Again I waited, no one showed up, no one called. I texted and I called, no response back. Friday morning (July 3rd), I kept calling, no answer so I sent a text and was told they will meet me by 12 (noon), again no one showed up and no one called. I kept calling and texting and was told between 2:30-2:45pm, the technician didn't show up until 4pm. He looked at the washing machine and it still would not power and said that the motherboard needed to be replaced. He said it would be done at no extra cost for "customer satisfaction".Desired Settlement: He assured us he would be at our house on Tuesday (July 7th), again never called never showed up. I kept calling/texting and he replied that they were waiting on the truck (which comes between 12-2pm) and that they would call me then. Never called, never showed. I kept calling and texting, no response. I then get a text at 3:08pm saying the part was not on the truck and that it should definitely be in tomorrow. Still no call today (July 8th)from them. We need it fixed or our money refunded back.

Review: [redacted] and [redacted] were contacted to repair my washing machine. They were under the name Everhart Appliance Repair online (they also use the name Panther Appliance) via the phone number ###-###-####. They used duck tape to repair the washing machine (unbeknown to us at the time, we found this out later as we looked at the work they did), and then they said it was working great. They charged $140.00, and gave me a receipt that states we have a one year warranty on all parts and labor. After I paid them, they left the house (and cashed the check immediately), I tried to wash a load a clothes, and the washer still did not work. I contacted them immediately, and they stated they would come back out. For four days we tried to get them back out to us, and they did not return phone calls. We finally purchased a new washer and left a message that we needed a refund. They texted us a message saying they would pay us in full. After a few weeks of not receiving the reimbursement, I began calling them again, and they said it was the wrong number (a lie). I then got in touch with a previous number they had returned a call from originally, and again, they agreed to send payment. After a week of waiting for the payment again, I returned another call, and it appears they have disconnected this number as well. Here is the info I have:Date of service: 10-10-14Contact person was [redacted]Repair person was [redacted] and [redacted]Check was made out to [redacted]phone numbers include: ###-###-#### and ###-###-#### (most recent)They live in LexingtonThe most recent address I have is: [redacted]They go under 2 different namesEverhart Appliance and Panther Appliance. These people are crooks. I spoke to a previous employee who finally admitted to having the phone they used, and he told us that they were crooks, and that he doesn't work for them anymore. He is the one that told me they used duck tape on my washer.Desired Settlement: $140.00 reimbursement

Review: I did an Internet search for an Appliance repairman in my area, ([redacted]) and submitted for a quote from several places. Unfortunately I don't know from which lead I got the call from, but this man going by "Allen Griffin" of "Home Pros" said he could come out the very next morning. He looked at my refrigerator and did some tests and said that I needed a new compressor and that he would need $150 up front to order it, then he would be back in two days to install it. He never showed up at the appt. time two days later so I called him and he gave me an excuse that the 'overnight' shipment got delayed. Called back a couple days later when he missed the next appt. and he gave me an excuse that one of his four kids missed the bus for school, but that he'd call me back to let me know what time to expect him. Since then he has not called me, and I have called the number he gave me several times every day and have left several messages but he has vanished! This was 3 weeks ago! I did a search on the number he gave me and had originally called me from, which is ###-###-####. My results stated that the phone was owned by a [redacted]" Upon more research I unfortunately have found that he has gone by many personal names and company names and has run the exact same con on multiple people! And he has yet to be caught or dealt with.Desired Settlement: I want my money back. Plus damages. I have had to refuse multiple potential buyers because the fridge was never fixed.

Review: Ronnie G[redacted] came to repair oven. Wrote him a check to order parts and scheduled a time for repair. Check cashed. Ronnie did not show up for repair.Desired Settlement: Refund from bank who cashed check since Ronnie G[redacted] is felon.

Review: Our fridge was not working properly so we looked online for a repair man. We came across "Piedmont Appliance Repair" and the name Ronnie G[redacted]. We called up to see how much it would be to come out and look at it. He said he could be out within a few hours. He came out, didn't introduce himself at the door, didn't ask for my name, (all of which didn't even occur to me at the time). He went and looked at the fridge. Diagnosed the problem. He said this was a common problem he had run into lately. He showed me the meter he used to test the compressor. He seemed professional. He gave me an estimate. He told me he would do me a favor and not charge the labor since it was an easy problem to fix. He told me he needed the money for the part before he ordered it otherwise they would not ship him the part. I'm an it and fell for it. Stupid. He took the check. He said he would call me that evening to tell me what time he would be out the next day with the part to fix it. The bank called my husband to verify the check about 20 minutes after he left. We still thought everything was legit. He never called that evening. Meanwhile I looked up his name online. Found a news story that he has been charged and convicted several times for doing this exact same thing to many other people. Sometimes he comes with the parts to fix the problem, but does a sy job and ends up ruining the appliance. Sometimes he just takes the money and never comes back to do the work. The next morning I called the Police.Filed a report. They got in touch with him and told him to give us back our money. They told him he had until 2'o'clock in the afternoon.Otherwise they would put a warrant or his arrest. 1:55 I get a phone call-a "service call" from the company. They tell me the "tech" (Ronnie) is about 2 hours away and cannot get me the money. But they would send it via western union. But they needed my information. (But they should already have that....)Scammer. Stay away. His company name changes. Piedmont Appliance RepaiDesired Settlement: I want my money back. $400. I want this guy to never be able to do this to people again....but I know the Revdex.com can't arrest people.
