first time I've heard of itIt would have been much easier to just reach me at the shop, I'm here every day and am always happy to do whatever it takes to help my customers. I researched the complaint, and found that the requested tire is indeed no longer made and my tire sales person sold them the correct replacementIf the customer is not happy with this tire, I am happy to do whatever I need to do to helpI can sell other of those tires at a discounted price, if they would like a different brand I'm happy to sell them a set of different tires with a discount, or if they want to try and find the matching tire online or by some other means they can get it and bring it to me and I will install it, get my tire back and reimburse them the money for my tire and they can just pay me for the installation of their tireThis seems easy enough to resolve. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me I just want to be clear with the manager of the business that I did return to the shop when I realized that mismatched tire had been placed on my car and I inquired about the company finding the tire I originally requestedI was told it wasn't possible and that I could just buy a full set of tiresI left there confused as well because the solution seemed like a simple fix to me as well

I'm writing to you in response to a complaint that you received about us that was given an ID number of ***.In regards to this complaint, I honestly don't know where to begin, This vehicle was brought to us two timesthe first time they brought the vehicle in, they asked for us to perform an
alignment, which we didThey told us they hit a pothole and wanted us to align the vehicleWe did the service exactly as requestedThat bill was $We performed the service we were specifically told to performWe didn't diagnose anything, we didn't recommend anything, we did what was asked of us.The second visit, the customer brought the car in for us to check out a noiseWe did this, our minimum charge is a half hour labor, which he was charged for $plus taxAs a side note, we actually fixed his complaint for that same amounthe was upset because he was under the impression that we work on cars for free, He came to pick his car up and berated my cashier, yelled at him, video taped himSome really bizarre, disturbing and irrational behaviorMy cashier called me, as I was home because it was late at nightI told him the customer had two choices, to leave the car until the morning, come in when I was there and I would take that charge off the bill, or he could pay the bill and come back and I would reimburse himThere was nothing I could do at the time because I was simply not thereHe paid the bill and then started sending me bizarre messages on facebook telling me how he can't control his temper and that his mommy really loves our storeI told him to simply come by on Monday and I would reimburse him the second bill of dollars before taxes, I also explained to him that we don't work for free. he said he would come in, which he never didThen he continuously disparaged my business with his warped version of reality on social media. I'll tell you exactly what I told himI'll happily reimburse him the money for his second visit, we will never do business with him or his family again, simply come by and get your money backhe already knows this. I will not reimburse him for the alignment that he requested us to doAnd as he says, if he has all the paperwork, you will be able to see for yourself that they came in and asked for that service to be performed.He is a very bizarre person, and it's bothersome that I even have to waste any time dealing with someone like him, but I will be happy to do exactly what I stated above.Thank you for your time *** *** and please let me know if I can be of any further service to you.John F#-###-####Operations Manager

This email is my reply to the complaint from *** *** that has a complaint ID number of ***.*** *** brought his vehicle to me for an oil change, during the course of the oil change, his threads came out with the drain plugThis is a occurrence that often happens with vehicles
that have higher mileage on themIf the vehicle has an aluminum pan, it's an easy fix, you simply retap the threadsif the vehicle has a steel pan, like *** ***s, the proper repair is to replace the oil panThis is what we do, we repair carsWe called him with an estimate, he said he didn't feel like he should have to pay for the repair to his carWe told him that it's not our responsibility to fix his car for freeWe gave him an estimate, he declined the repairsSo we gave him two other choices, we offered him a discounted price to fix it properly or told him he could put in a pan saving drain plug that would only cost dollarsAt this point he agreed to repair the vehicle at the price of $plus taxHe agreed to the price and told us to fix itSo we didThen he simply didn't want to pay for his vehicle when he picked it upSo he stole the car off of our lot, we called the police they went to get him for breaking the law, then he came in and paid for his bill. As far as I'm concerned, the matter is closed, once he realized that we were going to press charges on him for being a thief, he came and paidnow he just wants to complain and bad mouth us instead of simply taking responsibility for his own vehicleWe repaired his car at a cost cheaper than any other shop in the world would have charged him, yet we are still the bad guys in his eyes.We have dropped the criminal charges against *** *** at this point because he came and paid for his billAt this point, I'm just responding to his complaint so you realize that we actually didn't do anything wrong, in fact we went out of our way to help this personHe TOLD us to fix the car, then stole it without paying for itI'm still shaking my head at this complaint.Please let me know if there is anything further I can do to assist you.John F*Operations managerPiedmont Tire and Auto###-###-####
