Thanks so much for your messageAt our corporate offices we backed up our server and did everything we could at the time to keep the website running however the extreme web traffic still caused it to have issues on and off throughout the day of the promotionIn-store we almost doubled

On December 27, 2013, Pieology at Irvine Spectrum served over 1100 guests and over 1000 guests on December 28th, 2013 receiving no negative comments. We have however, reviewed your comments with our Spectrum team and our group remains committed to maintaining and exceeding required safety practices.
As an additional action, Pieology has contacted and invited the Orange County health departments, Environmental Health Specialist, requesting a safety audit of our restaurant to validate the efficacy of our systems and processes. Previous health department inspections, in March and August of 2013, demonstrate our consistent efforts in maintaining health department requirements.

Review: I ate at Pieology on December 27th 2013, and woke up Saturday the 28th vomiting my guts out and with severe intestinal and vowel problems.I do not know if it was the lack of cleanliness of the restrooms which smelled like urine, the employees not washing their hands after pushing the overflowing trash down into the trashcan, or the warm ranch an employee gave me that got me sick for four days. I was given 4 coupons to return to the restaurant, but after thinking about it I actually felt offended. Why would I return to a place that caused me to lose ten pounds, and was responsible for me going home sick from work?This Pieology location has been sited in previous health inspections for many violations, including:Evidence of Vermin Activity/Presence of Animals/Insects (twice)Inoperable/Lack of Food ThermometerUnsanitary Equipment/Utensil/Linen/PlumbingLack of/ImproperJanitorial Facilities or Liq WasteImproper Holding Temperatures of PHFDesired Settlement: Pieology specified through Yelp that all matters of this sort needed to be handled through their corporate office by mail, so I sent them a letter which was received on 01/27th/2014, tracking: [redacted].After looking up their health inspections I was not at all surprised I got sick.I would like a reply to my letter in the form of a call, a letter, or an email from [redacted] or [redacted] at Pieology in regards to my request in the letter, and a successful resolution to my request.
