The shippers goods were delivered on August 12. Our sales person stated that Mr*** was not present when the estimate was made and Mrs*** did not show him the second garage. This caused the shipment to be much larger than the space allocated. Final goods were delivered on August 12, which was the soonest a van was available in this busy summer season

To Whom It May Concern:We sincerely regret the inconvenience Mr. [redacted] has experienced during his moving process. We have been working diligently to send the remainder of Mr. [redacted]'s items to his residence.When our moving counselor visited the [redacted] residence, he vistied with Mrs. [redacted]....

They walked through the home and he prepared an inventory of the items to be packed and moved (attached) as well as an estimate for the move (attached). The estimate Mrs. [redacted] signed stated packing would be based on the actual quantity of items packed. In addition, if you review the inventory sheet, you will note only one garage is listed on the inventory not two.Based on the visual survey, our moving counselor estimated the weight of Mr. & Mrs. [redacted]'s shipment to be 17,000 pounds. The actual weight of the shipment was 29,780 pounds. We were able to load over 21,000 pounds on the first driver. That driver did his best to make sure household essentials were taken to the [redacted]'s new home. The second truck carried mostly items from the garages.Since loading the shipment, the [redacted]'s remaining items have been planned on several trips. However, those plans have fallen through. Last week, the shipment was assigned to a driver to load on 8/2. Unfortunately, the driver had a medical emergency, and was not able to undertake his trip. The [redacted]'s items are planned on a driver who will be picking up the items next week. This option was our last resort, but the other options have fallen through.We sincerely regret Mr. [redacted] has not had a positive moving experience. However, despite the fact that Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] sent an additional 12,780 pounds of household goods, we have honored the original pricing terms of the contract. We only charged the [redacted]'s for the additional packing as per the original contract. Customer service has been working diligently with the [redacted]'s to rectify any missing essential items, and will continue to do so until the shipment delivers.

I am rejecting this response because:
I had never seen the document that shows only one garage as you can tell it was never signed by myself or my wife.  We made it clear to him that everything had to go.  Why on earth would I leave the contents of an entire garage? The only document that was signed was the estimate that states nothing of an amount of garages.  I see that they are proposing to only drop off my goods when ever they get around to it. At present I was told they MAY be able to get a driver on the 10th and then MAYBE drop off on the 14th of August.  That is almost an entire month of waiting for my goods.  I feel this alone is not right beside the FACT that we were lie to in order to get our business.  It appears that I have to take whatever they want to give after I have paid for the service and get nothing in return except an air mattress and an apology.  I feel that I should not be charged at all for the second truck.

We are sincerely sorry for the delay with the [redacted] and [redacted] shipment.  The van Allied had originally assigned to the shipment was unable to load it and the next available van was late in loading.  The shipment delivers tomorrow and we supplied the [redacted] with the necessary...

claim papers for the delayed shipment.  The [redacted] will have compensation for inconveniences in the delay from Allied Van Lines based on the Tariff and Allied's policies.  If there are any additional issues with the shipment, we will work with the [redacted] regarding them.  They can continue to reach out to Jeff [redacted] at our Markato office for help with their needs.  Thank you.
