I told the Homeowner, That the retractable awning that was installed has nothing to do with the leaks.. It is a Roof problem.. It is a flat roof with cracks all around from the tar, that is where the water is getting in.. And yes they did order more window awnings to match the
ones they gotThe material they ordered was discontinued, and no longer availableI tried all winter while we were closed to try to find enough yardage to make their awnings to no availability. so they can pick a new pattern that is close enough to what they have or They could have a refund.. yrs in business and never have I turned on a customer and never will.. from November to April 1st we are closed for the winter.. We are open now and we will resolve this matter in a timely matter as soon as we Hear from the *** on what they would like to do... I could apply some tar up on the roof for the, but again the leak does not have anything to do with the Retractable... the retractable is a wall mount under a soffetI believe the roof got a little torn up from super Storm Sandy, or Eileen from the year before Sandy.. a New Hot Tar done on the roof would definetly solve their problem from a Proffessional Roofing Service, not an Awning Company
