the business is not being truthful regarding their collection practices nor are they being truthful regarding their communication with meAn Internet search of their phone number and or company reveals that almost every complaint has at least one similar scenario suggesting they operate on
intimidating peopleI would have expected an acknowledgment of the fact that although they were told prior to cease calling my employer they continued and yesterday was in fact NOT the first time they were asked to stop calling my employerIt adds insult to injury that they would instead suggest I was rude to themDuring the next couple of days I will review on-site call recording through my employer for proof/documentation of their communicationBullying people regardless of a debt that might be owed is unethical and can breach laws in place to protect consumersI expected an apology not a lie.

To Whom it concern, This was not placed with Pierce Hamilton Stone, Ltdas a matter of collectionMr*** *** per our client made a purchase and was asked as part this purchase to complete his financing
agreement was Instructed to return with documents to finalize his loan agreementWe had attempted to contact Mr*** with information he supplied for the line of credit for over days and we were unable to make contact with himWhile in the field we made contact and notified him that his documents were not supplied to the lender and it was very important to do so to stay in line with his purchase agreementOnce again this was not a matter of collection and was not in our collection department. Resolution: As 9/26/Mr*** has agreed and acknowledged that all paper work will be supplied to the lender for financing of his purchase Any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office

With regards to Mr*** complaint, First call was made as a traditional collection call to Mr***, during this phone conversation, Mr*** was rude and irate and refused any discussions in reference to the collection matter After getting authorization from the Client for involuntary
action, management called to verify that he was indeed an employee there and Mr*** answered the phone We did not ask for him by name, we asked for Human Resources and an address for the corporation to which he is employed Mr*** became irritated and refused to pass call to the appropriate department At this time, Mr*** also started using vulgar language at his place of employment and during the time of dealing with this particular collection account they always have stated he was not an employee there However, today they stated he was and handed off the phone to Mr*** on the first call The third call was to the co-signer who lists the exact same information as a place of employment, during this call Mr*** fielded the call and we explained the call was not in reference to him, but someone else and he stated that he was going to finalize this and he terminated the call Still to the date we have been unable to verify employment or positions of either party At no time was it stated or did we receive a letter to cease communication until today Our resolution to this is that the account has been filed as closed and sent to a forwarding Attorney per our Client's request No further contact will be made base on Mr*** verbal request. At Pierce Hamilton Stone Collections, Ltdwe practice preserving human dignity in dealing with each consumer. This is a communication from a debt collector, any information obtained will be used for that purpose

I requested the name of the individual who made both phone calls number and This was not provided.I requested information on the so called "recorded phone call" that I was threatened withThis would provide real, accurate information on what exactly happened, what was said, and who is telling the truthThis was not provided.I am now requesting documentation and proof that I owe this debt due to the arrogantly and ultimately comdemning lie that the coapplicant is listed with the same employment information (See Lie - Below)This is not the first call to my place of employment over the last yearsThis isn't even the 10th phone callI recieve a call asking specifically for me every month and a half to two monthsEach time, I've told them not to call my place of employment, and inform them that I've told them not to call previously..and each time, they respond with "We have no record of that" (of course they don't).Lie by PHS.I recieved a call at 3:35PM today, which was answered by someone else, and transferred to meWhen they Identified themselves as Pierce Hamilton Stone, I knew exactly who it was because of my previous conversationsI immediately informed them that I have told them MANY MANY times not to call my place of employmentThe lady proceeded to keep talking and not awknowledging what I had said, so I hung up.At 3:38PM (less than minutes later if you count talk and transfer time) I recieved a call from the gentleman who made both calls and identifying himself as a manager with PHSHe ABSOLUTELY asked for my BY NAME (Lie - PHS)They DID ask for HR, but only after he decided to start (what he probably percieved to be, but was really just demeaning to himself) a verbal tyraid full of threats of recording the phone call, continuing to pursue me, and stating he can "call whoever he wants"I refused to provide the HR number, he got angryThe argueing commenced, and I certainly DID become irritatedThis lasted for a few minutes, and I DID hang up.In the business response, it states they only called back the second time after he recieved authorization from his clientIt takes less than minutes to recieve that authorization and make a second phone call? (Lie by PHS)At 3:53PM, the same gentleman called back..call 3. I answered the phone, and the started off with him saying "You know what Mr***.." (Lie number by PHS) and ended after a good or minutes of both of us bantering back and forthAt LEAST times in this phone call, I CLEARLY and REPEATEDY asked for his name...he refusedI hung up this time as wellIn this conversation, he accused me of being the owner, that I was lying to him, berated my job, and made a statement of "I have $reasons to keep chasing you".You've called many times, but have never been able to verify employment? Yet you've spoken to me there before...many timesRight? (Lie by PHS)Lie number by PHS, and the new request for proof that I owe this debt, along with a copy of the original applicationThe cosigner has NEVER had any listings, documents, paperwork, etc, at my place of employmentIt could NOT have been listed on the application, and this is an absolutely pathethetic excuse to make the third phone call, because this is PROVEABLEI'd LOVE to see those documents, because frankly, it catches you in a bold faced lie and proves malice.PHS all has similar elements to their reviews and complaintsThreats of recorded calls, intimidation, harassment, multiple calls after being told not toIt isn't a conspiracy against PHS, but rather a pattern of their unethetical, and often illegal practicesA longer, more detailed writing is being drafted now to the Ohio Attorney Generals Office, and maybe they can shed some light on this for us
