Review: We purchased a 2013 [redacted] S-280QBS on April 26, 2013 at Pierce RV Centers located in Billings, MT. Since our purchase, we have been able to use our coach three (3) times or a total of twelve (12) days. Our first time camping with our coach was Mother's Day weekend at the local [redacted] (May 11-12, 2013). The following is a the list of issues reported to Pierce RV after our first trip on May 13, 2013: 1. SLIDE OUT MALFUNCTIONS: Does not properly retract or return/gaps along the outside when pulled in. 2. Outdoor Kitchen countertop and cutting board warped after one (1) use. 3. Left front(Front Driver's side) Stabilizer Jack bent. We were able to pick up our coach on June 4, 2013. Our second time camping with our coach was June 8-15, 2013 at Cape Disappointment, WA (998 miles away from home). The following is a list of issues reported to Pierce RV on June 17, 2013: 1. Oven(indoor kitchen) will not stay lit. 2. Outdoor kitchen countertops and cutting board still not repaired. 3. Left front (Front Drivers side) Stabilizer Jack still not repaired. 4. Slide Out still does not work properly during this trip. 5. No keys for outdoor kitchen. (Unable to lock kitchen and stayed in a place we felt threatened) 6. Mirror opposite of TV stand is extremely crooked. (ONLY ISSUE TO BE RESOLVED) 7. Outdoor kitchen gray water drain hose was not properly attached and resulted in major flooding throughout coach. a. CONCERN: Wiring is now a fire hazard due to being submerged in gray water. b. CONCERN: Interior and underbelly(including insulation) are now contaminated with gray water and possibility of mold growth. On June 17, 2013, we dropped off our coach for repair. Mid July 2013, we had a meeting with [redacted](General Manager of Pierce RV) to find out why our coach was still not repaired. We were promised our coach would be repaired in time for our family reunion in mid-August 2013. During this meeting, [redacted] asked us to let them(Pierce RV) try to make this right. So, we agreed we would give them a chance to repair our coach. August 2, 2013, we picked up our coach after thirty four(34) business days (excluding July 4th). August 4, 2013, we dropped off our coach for repair AGAIN. 1. The slide was hitting the gutter(when the slide was retracting and returning). 2. We discovered a propane leak on the drivers side and the tank mount bolt was broken and rusted. 3. **The Service Department let us know our coach had been repaired and was ready for pick up a few days later. After inspecting our coach, [redacted] saw daylight on the edges of the slide; so we left our coach for repair.[redacted] August 7, 2013 we picked up our coach again. [redacted] left a message for [redacted] to call him back about our disappointment in the repairs. 1. Rail system(the replacement) is showing signs of heavy damage from being improperly installed(by Pierce RV). We question the long term reliability. 2. We question the reliability/integrity of all propane hoses and connections in our coach. August 8, 2013, [redacted](Pierce RV's General Manager) called [redacted] in regards to [redacted]'s message. During this phone call, [redacted] explained how unhappy she was with the repairs and stated the NEW rail system is damaged from improper installment. [redacted] stated he did not buy that statement. Unfortunately for [redacted], we have photographic evidence to support our claim and the coach itself. In our meeting with [redacted] in mid-July, it was discussed if we were not pleased with the outcome, we could discuss trading our coach for something else. [redacted] stated (during the phone call August 8, 2013) that our coach was as good or even better than anything he has on his lot. At that time, [redacted] decided to kindly end the conversation by thanking him for his time. August 9, 2013, [redacted](Pierce RV's General Manager) left [redacted] a message in regards to his conversation with [redacted] the previous day. [redacted] discussed trading in our coach for another coach on Pierce's lot due to the fact we did not trust our coach and Pierce's repairs. [redacted] came back with a dollar amount that was $3,000 over list price. Someone off the street could buy a coach cheaper than an upset customer. On August 15, 2013, [redacted] noticed a propane smell coming from the front of our coach. [redacted] removed the cover on the propane tanks and discovered the wrong propane hoses had been replaced and the propane tank mount had not been repaired. [redacted] removed the hose and visited the Pierce Service Department AGAIN. [redacted](Pierce RV's Service Manager) followed [redacted] home to repair the propane hoses on the drivers side and the propane tank mount bolt. August 15, 2013, we cancelled our ten(10) day trip to South Dakota. We were not confident in our coach to travel such a distance. August 17, 2013, we took our third camping trip to Bozeman, MT(a safe distance from home). 1. The slide is still not working properly. [redacted] noticed a horrible noise when retracting the slide. Upon investigating, [redacted] found wires and a rubber covering were tangled in the gears and rail system. 2. [redacted] discovered daylight shinning through the top of the slide when fully extended. 3. Once again, our coach flooded with gray water. We removed the access panel in the bathroom and saw all the pipes "looked" fine. We are assuming there is a leak in the underbelly or the sensors are not working correctly. a. CONCERN: Wiring is now a fire hazard due to being submerged in gray water. b. CONCERN: Interior and underbelly(including insulation) are now contaminated with gray water and possibility of mold growth. 4. While examining the underbelly of our coach, we found the axles/tires on our coach are for a different SMALLER coach. The axles/tires belong on a S-260BHS. This is a major safety issue/violation. Our Coach S-280QBS GVWR: 7,530 lbs GAWR (each) axle: 4,870 lbs (2x axles)= 9,740 lbs WHAT IS ACTUALLY ON OUR COACH: GAWR (each) axle: 3,500 lbs (2x axles)= 7,000 lbsDesired Settlement: RESOLUTION: We would like for Pierce RV and/or Cruiser RV, LLC to buy back our coach under the Federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Pierce RV has had ample time to make the necessary repairs and has made numerous attempts to repair with fail.

[redacted] did purchase a new travel trailer which developed several

problems. We worked very close with them and the factory under the

warranty guide lines to repair all of there concerns. This has been done and

they came and picked up the trailer. If there is a problem that recurs they

have several months of factory warranty still in force.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.

We were able to pick up the [redacted] on September 20, 2013. Pierce stated we have several months of warranty left (which ends April 2014). That would be great and all, but the onset of winter will not give us the luxury of finding out what other issues this trailer has in store. After a completely wasted summer, we attempted to trade our trailer in for something else on Pierce's lot, but were given some very outrageous prices. We felt our business was not valued and went elsewhere. We were given $25,300 for our trailer with another RV dealership, which is more than we paid for it. We now have a trailer with a 2 year warranty and a polar package.

Regards,

I would STRONGLY warn anyone considering doing business with Pierce RV, in Billings, MT. I bought a New 5th wheel in June of 2013. This was the 3rd New RV I have purchased from them over the years.
I had problems with the self leveling system, and took it in to be looked at. They made an adjustment and told me it was fine. It has never worked right, before or since. I took the 5th Wheel back in the fall of 2013, to be winterized. When spring 2014 rolled around, I started getting it ready for use. When I flushed the RV Antifreeze, and filled it with fresh water, water began flowing out of the subfloor, where it shouldn't be coming from. As it turns out, they had neglected to winterize the line for the outside spray hose, and a line ruptured inside the trailer over the winter. They fixed the ruptured water line on their "dime", but that was a weekend lost. I brought up the fact that the Leveling system still wasn't working, and I wanted it fixed before the Warranty expired. They said the Service Department was booked out for several months, but they could try and "squeeze" me in. I took it back in on June 10th, 2014. It has been a 3 ring circus every since. One excuse after another, parts for repair arrived, but they were the wrong parts. Then the excuse of, who was going to pay for the warranty repairs; the manufacture or Pierce RV, even though they acknowledged I would not have to pay. I went in and personally raised hell last week. I demanded they get the parts ordered immediately. Told them they could fight over who pays for what on their time, but I wanted my 5th Wheel fixed ASAP! They assured me I was moved to the top of the list!
They Called again on July 8th, to tell me that parts arrived, but were again, THE WRONG PARTS! They thought they would have the Correct parts to complete repairs and I should have it back today (Friday, July 11th). Well Guess what, I never got a call that it was finished. I dropped it off June 10th, and today is July 11th, a whole month that I haven't been able to use my New 5th Wheel. One excuse after another. FYI, Beware! You have been warned!
Update: I went in to Pierce RV on July 12th, and asked what the status of my 5th wheel was. The Service Department was open from 9am, to 5pm., they had tech's working in the shop. When I asked why no one was working on my 5th wheel, they said, "I don't know, they were working on it yesterday." When I repeated my question about what the status was, they replied, "I don't know, but we will call you when we find out." As of the end of business, July 12th, they never called me back.

Review: I bought a new 5th wheel from pierc rv about a year ago. my problems started after we had the Contracts signed an I had left withe the new rv. A week or so later the finance officer called me from pierce rv and informed me that I Needed to get back to the dealership immediately because they hadMade a mistake and I needed to put additional money down and sign a New contract because the bank was not going to accept the previous.I live 9 hours from that dealership, but I did what they requested. I took time off work, paid for a hotel and all my travel expenses.Pierce rv didn't offer me a cent to cover those costs. Within the Next few months I was stopped numerous times by the police forLight problems on my vehicle, they where finnaly traced back toThe new wiring pierce rv had installed in my 2011 dodge Cummins. Now I am currently dealing with problems with the rv. I left it atpierce rv for a week and a half, this dealer is over 100 miles from my house. when I came to pick it up they had not completed all the work. they told me it would be 2 weeks to get the part. It has been over a month now and they Transfer my calls or put me on hold Until they tell me no one is available, This has been going on for a week now They take my name and number and say They will call right back but no one Does. I will never do bussiness withPierce Rev again and will advise anyPerson I know who is interested in a rv against it. There is absolutely Nothing professional, convenient, orefficient about doing business withPierce rv.Desired Settlement: I can't seem to get in contact with any management in the billings,mt or kalispell, MT stores That seem to think these issues are a concern, so I hope either the public sees this or the Revdex.com can make a difference because I have received nothing more than dismissal. I would hate to have any one else have the experience I have had.

Mr. [redacted] purchased a new unit. A new factory part had failed and

needed to be order. It took longer then expected but has been replaced.

Again I believe there are no other issues in this case.

Review: On 17 June 2013 we purchased a 97 Winnebago, went on 1 outing when picked up(same day) and RV motor stalled the entire trip, generator broke, engine cover blew off, no dash a/c and entire trip was a disaster. Once back in Billings we were assured (promised) that all defects would be repaired and we were priority #1. As of this date we have not been appraised of the status of this RV and have had nothing but a run around by Steve Bents(so-called salesman). We have been told by the Sales MGR [redacted] that we are stuck with this broken vehicle and it is apparent that they are in no hurry to make the necessary repairs. They have had the RV since the 20th of June, 2013 and to my knowledge have only made 2 repairs from a very long list. When shuffled off to the service manager [redacted] his answer to many of the repairs is "the parts are on order". I would advise anyone thinking about buying anything from Pierce RV to stay awayDesired Settlement: We have requested that we get our money back since we have no confidence in this vehicle or the dealership and were told that we were "stuck with" this broken RV and now the dealership is very disrespectful, rude, nonrespondent and vague as to when the requuired repairs would be made. We want our $18,100.00 plus reimbursement for loan interest, loss of use of the vehicle and insurance payments.

Mr. [redacted] purchased an older used motorhome and on his first

trip it developed several issues. He returned the unit and the items

of concern were repaired to his satisfaction. I believe we have no other

issues with mr. [redacted].
