This complaint has been resolved and we have refunded the customer $977.50. The terms and conditions listed on our website states:
"We will gladly accept the return of products for exchange that are defective due to defects in manufacturing and/or...
workmanship for 30 days from the date of purchase. Unopened and UNUSED products may be returned within 30 days for refund minus a 15% restocking fee. It is the sole discretion of Pierson Workholding to determine if an item has been used or not. USED items are not eligible for refund and will be returned to the customer." The customer called 1 week prior and said the system didn't work and refused to discuss any fixes with our technical support staff. Customer also stated the system wasn't used so a 15% restocking fee was acceptable. Upon receiving the items, the product had obvious wear and tear and grease on it and was deemed "used".
The technical nature of our products requires a close working relationship with our customers and we are making an exception to our terms and conditions in order to end the relationship with this customer. We have processed the refund for the disputed amount and have closed the case on our end.
