While shopping at Piggly Wiggly in Poynette on Saturday, March 28th 2020 I noticed they had shopping bags of toilet paper marked at $9.00 a bag. I couldn't tell how many rolls were in each shopping bag but it didn't look like many and the toilet paper had clearly been broken down from it's original packaging. Our country is in a state of emergency or excuse me but a pandemic with this covid-19 crisis we're all in. We should be coming together to do the right thing and help each other out,not take advantage of the community.
Poynette Pig I have a complaint submitted on me with ID To start with the bags were not marked at $9.00 a bag they were marked at $9.99 a bag.There were 12 rolls in each shopping bag. The toilet paper was not broken down from its original packaging as this states. These were individually wrapped rolls that came in for sale. You could sell them one roll for .99 or we decided to package them up and make it easier for the customer. We packed them in packages of 12 and sold them for $9.99 a 12 pack. So if you would of bought (12) individual rolls how the company suggests we sell them they would of paid $11.88 and instead we packaged them up for the customers and sold (12) count for $9.99 Do I need contact the customer as well? I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I also stopped by the store again on Sunday, April 5th and noticed that the shopping bags of toilet paper had been marked down to 5.99 a bag.
