They have a large turn around at the office all employees are independent contractors and don’t get medical insurance or sick leave paid.vendors and contractors calling for payment after work have been done on there property and not getting paid. Tenants that have moved out waiting months for there security deposit refunded to them . The company bank accounts are always on zero balance.checks have bounced.LLC names are registered in different state. Tenants requesting on work order’s that have not been done for months. Rental property that needs Major work they just slap some paint over and make it look rentable.the courts system’s are overwhelm fill with lawsuits against this company This have been going on for 10 years this is the never ending story with the owners of this company with out a ending ?

Best place to live and enjoy . I have a built in shower on the celing that when I brunch my hair it rains and makes my hair look beautiful inside the bathroom .I have junkies and strangers that hide inside the basement for days that don't live in the building . The owners are aware and only concern is that every one are on time making there rent payment .even if you are a good responsible and clean tenant when you turn in your keys to your apartment you will never see your security deposit back .they tell every one that they manage the property's but they are the owners . They use many LLC names on property's all employees are independent contractors they don't get medical benefits and are easily des possible. That's why they have a heavy turn around at the office this has been going on for many years the water service and light inside the hallways have been shut for nonpayment of service you need to be living on one of there property's to enjoy what we are and have live in

BEWARE - This is the most unresponsive and frustrating company I've ever dealt with. The refuse to send my security back and I never lived in the apartment. I paid my August rent and when I went to get the belongings I moved in and someone else was living in the apartment. I'm missing some of my belonging also. My father and I have tried over 35 time to contact them and they NEVER return a call. I would avoid renting from them at all costs. This company is only interested in your money and does not care about customer satisfaction.

Please be aware that [redacted] is not a Pike International property and Scott L[redacted] was not working as a Pike International agent in any regard when dealing with this client regarding this property.  Accordingly, we cannot speculate as to the circumstances of that case.  It...

is not associated with our business.  Since this is the case, we would like this complaint removed from the Pike International Revdex.com account right away.  Regarding Scott L[redacted], while he does occasional deals with us, he does so with many other companies as well.  He is not a salaried nor hourly employee.
We hope this clears up any confusion regarding this matter. While we at Pike have the highest respect for our clients, we simply aren't associated with this instance. We wish all parties the best.

I lived here for 4 years, in the last 2 years I fought with over 10 different property managers because they change monthly. In September of 2015 and October of 2015 I had a serious leak. A ceiling leak that would rain down on my apartment every time the person above would shower, 1-2 times daily. The leak was above the stove and my closet.
the electrical outlets over the stove would have water pouring all over them, for 3 months I asked them to come fix it and they ignored me. every single night I had to get towels and sheets and buckets to collect the water.
finally the ceiling collapsed. luckily the apartment did not burn down
they refused to fix the hole for 2 weeks. when they finally did, they only fixed the hole, not the root of the problem
the next day the water traveled to the closet and would rain down there for several days until it also collapsed. this went on for months before someone finally fixed it. they told me originally not to pay the 2 months rent, but now are demanding that I pay one of them.
who in there right mind would think that these are acceptable living conditions?
the man below me also suffered from the leak, they did nothing for him either. the property manager has no idea how to maintain a ledger and it took him almost a year now to decide I should pay him for it. I have photos of all the damage and I am welcoming him to challenge me for it.

You see the whole thing about Pike is that they are, and will always be, slumlords. I am from NYC and the way that Schmully does business is shady. They tried to keep half of my deposit - stating a clerical error. Odd how the comment above mentioned the speed at which they go after you for rent but when you have a genuine concern regarding your place they move like molasses. Sad really.

Review: I have had numerous problems with this company.1) When we were visiting property in consideration of renting, the rental agent (Andreas) made a point to not allow us to speak with the tenants, whom turns out later had a litany of complaints against this company's non-responsiveness and poor customer service.2) Our contract's fine print had a stipulation about having to inform whether we were moving out, 6 months prior to contract end. Yet no one communicated with us until we came to the office, the day before the contract was set to expire, and so we were forced to stay in this property for another year. They tell us that it was because they "had the wrong phone number in the system". Icing on the cake was the rent was increased (1465 from 1395) and they did not tell us at all until we came to inquire about the contract, so we are now forced to pay an increased rent.3) We have had numerous issues with the property, most saliently a broken window, malfunctioning oven, and poor insulation. The broken window has remained broken for at least 3-4 months, and no one has made an attempt to fix it, despite repeated calls and office visits to make complaint. After speaking with the prior tenant, I learned that probably the window was broken even before I came, and I just noticed it late. I was told that the tenants were told that windows were going to be replaced due to poor insulation, but it never happened. The heating is poor in this apartment, and the apartment itself is unreasonably cold ~30 degrees in the winter. Despite this, [redacted] has done nothing about it, let along a broken window which they refuse to fix.Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Replacement

I expect [redacted] to replace the windows for better insulation as was promised, including fixing the broken window.I expect the oven to be replaced, as was promised.I expect the promise of clear communication with me about any matter regarding the rental propertyI expect to be notified of any rent changes, as well as follow up regarding plans for the coming year.

Response:

Hello,I'll be responding to the customer complaints filed against our company. The first is for this complaint:Customer Information:[redacted] Daytime Phone: [redacted]Evening Phone: [redacted]E-mail: [redacted]Our response is as follows:We are deeply sorry for any dissatisfaction that was caused to our resident, as it is always our aim to provide the best possible service and a good quality home to all who live in [redacted] International properties. To address the numbered complaints, please let me start with clarifying the policy relevant to complaint number one. 1. It is [redacted] International's policy that we do not ask current tenants to make themselves available to perspective tenants who may be viewing available units. While we can understand the desire to want to speak with current tenants, we simply do not require these types of interactions of current tenants and have a do-not-disturb policy. It is for the peace of our current residents that perspective residents are not allowed to speak with current tenants. 2. All of our leases clearly state the terms of renewal, termination, rate of renewal increases, and other standard procedural requirements such as notification requirements. Before signing the lease, these terms are discussed with tenants and tenants also have the opportunity to review leases before signing them. A copy is provided to the tenant as well. All is clearly stated in the contract and discussed when tenants are moving in. That said, if this resident felt surprised by the terms of the lease then we will take this to heart and make a stronger effort to ensure that those entering into contract with us are fully aware of all terms. 3. We at [redacted] will not make excuses for any poor customer service our residents received in the past, and will share that we heard the complaints of two years back and have responded to the criticism. There has been a change in management, new systems have been put into place for swifter response, and we have increased the number of maintenance technicians in our fleet. If a work order took too long to fulfill in the past, we are sincerely sorry. That said, we are shocked to hear that an apartment reached 30 degrees. Should there ever be an emergency such as a furnace breaking in winter, it is company policy to provide alternative shelter (in a nearby hotel) for the duration of the situation until the living environment is again safe. If there is every an emergency of this nature, please call our 24-hour emergency line, which can be accessed via our regular office phone system. Since the time of your complaint we have taken strong and thoughtful steps to improve our resident care and provide swifter response times. There have been measurable results, and we hope you have noticed in your experience with us. If any problems do persist, please do call us and we will respond quickly for you. If you would like to speak to a member of our management team about your past experience or the direction of our company going forward, you are welcome to make an appointment or stop by, someone will make themselves available to you. We care deeply about the satisfaction of our residents and hope that you do reach out if there are additional steps we can take to make you happy with your home. Going forward, our goal is to provide you with a positive [redacted] experience.
