What the plummer quoted me to unstop sink drian, or so I thought, was maximum 169.00 if don't have to get on roof. What I was billed for is basket strains 57.90, parts 68.90, small parts 21.30, labor 169.00, unstop sink drain 189.00. ttl 506.00. I was shocked. I would not have agreed with this price had I known.
I realize plummers are paid well, and deserved. But to unstop drain line, thats ridiculous.
My advice is to be very clear on charges before the fact. As I said, I would not have agreed to this cost.
