Hi ***,I would like to set up an appointment with Pillar Resources to finish the work to be done on the bathroomIs it possible to make the appointment for 16th of August? Any time they are available would be fine for me.Thank You, [redacted] Phone [redacted]

The customer's hallway bathroom tub was installed then the plywood sub-floor was installed prior to the drain assembly being installed. Once the tub drain assembly was installed, there was flow from the tub to the drain as expected. The drain flowed properly after it was installed and all work was performed in a workmanlike manner The drain flowed properly for months following installation
The only reason that the drain may not flow well currently has to do with an obstruction of some sort which is a part of use (wear and tear) by the occupants. While we attempted, in good faith, to assist the customer with this matter we were unable to free the obstruction. We would be able to send a plumber out to the house to snake the line, however there would be a cost associated with that additional labor since is falls in the realm of maintenance.
Please let me know if you’d like us to coordinate a plumber to snake the obstruction for you. The plumber would ask for payment from you at the time that service is performed

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:The tub was installed in late March 2016. I was not allowed to move back into my house until mid April 2016. The water temperature of the faucet in the tub/shower was only 90 degrees so any shower I took was very short as the water was too cold to stand for very long. After the water temperature was corrected I noticed that the water drained very slowly, it would take anywhere from 2 - 4 hours to drain.  I am the only person living in the house and the only person taking showers. The water flow before the bathroom construction was fine, it flowed without ever filling the tub.  I have a plumber coming to the house to find and correct the problem and will be charging the cost to Pillar Resources. The worker they sent on Tuesday did try to fix the problem but indicated that the problem was farther down the line. He did try a drain cleaner but that did not work either. I expect the problem to be corrected tonight and a report will be filed with my mortgage holder.Sincerely,[redacted]

This is in response to a complaint that was filed by a customer for repairs made in her house.
The toilet was replaced exactly as was written and signed for in the contract, yet the customer didn’t like the toilet so we changed it out at no additional cost to her despite...

the fact that we had already purchased and installed the toilet as per the contract. All of the customer’s belongings that were removed in order to install carpet have been returned to her house and nothing is missing – all contents have been returned to the customer.  We did not have an agreement with the insurance carrier to unpack contents, therefore we did not unpack the contents – simply delivered the items to the house and placed them in the room from which it was removed. We did not perform work in the customer’s kitchen, so there would be no way that we could have damaged kitchen countertops. We’ve been in contact with the homeowner to address the mirror and other cabinet and have requested entry to install the cabinet that we’ve had now for some time. Unfortunately, there has not been a response to allow us entry to the house to install the cabinet.
As of this point, all of the work has been completed with the exception of the installation of 2 small hanging wall cabinets. This constitutes substantial completion since the home is habitable. The homeowner has been paid in part by the insurance carrier and none of these monies have been forwarded to Pillar for work completed.
Pillar has received a small deposit, but we’ve not been paid for the balance of the work that has been completed and/or is substantially complete. We fully intend to install the mirror as soon as it arrives since the homeowner purchased the mirror directly. This is the first that we’ve been informed there is an issue with the time it takes for the tub to drain. Again, the customer needs to provide access in order for Pillar to inspect the issue. We will contact the customer again in hopes that she will now allow us entry to install the cabinet and at the same time address the matter tub.
We’d like to know what type of candy was consumed and how much. If any of our staff had consumed any we apologize and would like to provide replacement.
