To Whom It May Concern, [redacted] did contact me by phone to pay for her reservation with a credit cardHowever, I did not get her credit card ran right awayThe flooding hit West Virginia and I was in my office right after that and ran her credit cardShe then called me within a day afterward to cancel her reservation and I explained to her that the flooding in that area did not seem to be that bad as I understood itAnyway, she seemed to be quite perturbed that I would even say that and she simply stated to me that it didn't matter anyway she was cancelling her reservation and she had already put a "stop payment" on the credit card chargeI simply said "ok" and she hung upI live in the [redacted] area that was hit the hardest, they found bodies within walking distance of my area alone, my business was flooded, my friends, my neighbors, everyone was affected in this area, so, at the time, quite honestly, she was the last thing on my mindI didn't even notice if her money was in or out of my account! didn't hear another word from her until her bank called meI wondered why she didn't pick up the phone and call me herself, but, she didn't, and she still has not ever called me since the day she cancelled her reservationI have included a copy of the letter that I sent to the bank.I do not know where she has seen any policies that she states is on the [redacted] websiteMy policy is clear and located at the bottom of all of my confirmationsI did not get a confirmation sent out to her as she had cancelled before it was sent, however, I did fill that in as such to show how and what my letter statesShe knew the policy because she had stayed at that cabin the year priorAt that time, I had a lady that worked for me by the name of Claudia, of whom I am certain will clearly remember Miss [redacted] and I am certain that she will testify as to what my policies were then and what they are nowThey have not changedI don't even know where the 50% refund policy came from that she stated in something she wrote!?The next time I heard from Miss [redacted] is when she sent me a very nasty and very disrespectful text message, of which I did not feel deserved any kind of a response whatsoever.My policy states: Refunds will only be given on cancellations only if re-rented for your reservation datesAll refunds are subject to a 20% service chargeThere will be no refunds for early departure, inclement weather or power outages.It has been a difficult year for a lot of people this yearI have refunded two other people this yearOne of which lost her husband only one week before her reservation, I refunded her in fullAnother person was coming from [redacted] , FL when the hurricane hitHe was so super nice and had still tried to come even though he had so much to contend with in his areaI refunded him in full, and later found out he had lost his father due to the stress of the hurricaneBoth parties have lost so much in their lives and yet were sweet and wonderful to work with and I appreciated that and was willing to work with them anyway that I couldMiss [redacted] has been so off basis in her accusations and her disrespectful attitudeI will be going today to pick up a copy of my incoming and outgoing phone callsIf Miss [redacted] did call someone, it was not me that she calledI have had no phone calls from her whatsoever since the day she cancelled her reservation.Thank you for your time and I apologize that you have had to become involved with this situationThank you, Tina G***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] Regards, [redacted] 1) I talk to Tina G [redacted] time to give her my reservation informationThe rest of the time was through text messaging onlyI'm pretty sure text messages hold more value than a he said she said phone conversation.2) The [redacted] & Home away site she advertises on has the policy listed and it is just that 100% refund if cancelled prior to days and 50% refund if cancelled days priorI did just that!!3) Tina sent paperwork to my bank stating that she had emailed me confirmation with her cancellation policyNot only does it not match the [redacted] policy but she never sent it to meShe stated to you the Revdex.com that she didn't get it sent out to me because I cancelled prior to her sending itAnother lie on her end 4) You can not advertise a cancellation policy on a website and then change it because it suits you better to keep everyone's money5) I did stay in this cabin last year under the same site same policy not the one she made up after the fact6) I talked to Claudia B***Tina refused to pay her money owed for work she did and fired herI'm pretty sure she's not going to testify to anything for her7) You don't take someone else's misfortune and use it as an excuse for doing the wrong thingIf there was any refunds issued to those people its because the merchant forced itIt was not out of the goodness of her heartMy bank stated there was so many pending reversals against her and that was just at that time.8) Tina also states that I sent the same text Oct-and then again Nov-That was different textNot the same text twiceI still have all the text on my phone.9) I have all text messages, phone logs, all made up paperwork that Tina sent to the bank that contradicts her statements to the Revdex.com, Anything that you need to know I have the paperwork to back the truth upObviously Tina can't keep her lies straight based on the paper trail that she has leftShe apologizes that you had to become involvedIf she would have done the right thing under the advertised cancellation policy we wouldn't be here and I wouldn't have to be investing all this time into forcing this so called kind hearted person into refunding my money that's owed to meShe also left out all the courteous text messages that would have kept me coming back and renting from her year after year and all the ones where she's lying to me about the flooding not being so badTruth is I have everything on file from day one and it shows the dishonesty from Tina G*** right from the beginningTo this day the same cancellation policy exist on [redacted] I just snapped another photo of it on Dec-1-I want the refund that's owed to me under her advertised policy I will be perfectly satisfied with that and go away
