Thermostat.  The owner, Kevin M[redacted], graciously gave the customer a free thermostat.  The $129.00 charge was for the after hour service only. The home was maintaining 72 degrees which is what the thermostat was set on.   The customer did not understand why the air was not hot coming out of the supply registers.  The outdoor temperature was around 7 degrees; therefore, equipment cycle times are increased and air temperature is decreased.

Review: John D[redacted] was supposed to install a custom grate to fill the hole he enlarged in the floor for the HVAC intake and finish the intake filter tray. After several months of waiting he arrived with a grate that did not come close to fitting. He claimed the Georgia-based manufacturer had sent him the wrong one and that the correct size would be ordered. Again months passed with no response. I tried many times to call Mr. D[redacted] but he would not answer or return the messages. In October I learned from his voicemail that he now works under contract for Pilot Air. Pilot Air was able to relay the message. Mr. D[redacted] then texted me from a new phone number on November 18th that said, "Hey John this is John D[redacted] that great is supposed to be here next Friday as soon as I get it in my hands I will bring it to your house" On November 27th I asked what the hold up was, John replied, "I just went to get it and they r closed today not sure why they said it would be today but I will get it Monday and bring it straight to u" Monday, the 30th came and went. I texted him again December 9th asking what the delay is. No response. I left another message with Shane at Pilot Air.Desired Settlement: Mr. D[redacted] claimed he would finish the intake grate with a swing away trap door that was "to his standards" because he said the current intake design was not. He also said he would install the correct size grate. I want the job finished to the high standard he promised.

Review: Pilot Air worked on our heating 3 times and couldn't get it fixed. They charged us $79. each time for service charges plus fees for the work that didn't fix the problem. Then the owner arrived and threatened to charge us another $79. service charge unless we bought a new thermostat, which in the end cost more ($130.) than the $79. That didn't help either. Then later we got another bill in the mail for a $79. service fee after he said he wouldn't charge us again.Desired Settlement: 2 service fees and the thermostat cost should be refunded.
