Review: I dropped the car off on a Monday and was told it should be finished by that Friday of the same week. I called on Friday and was told it would be the beginning of the week. My car was ready to be picked up on Thursday. I picked my car up and returned the rental vehicle. I had two children with me, a hungry six year old and a 3 month old who was not feeling well. I did not check the repairs until I arrived back at my home in [redacted] 45 minutes later. I immediately noticed several issues and called the shop. I did not get an answer and left a voicemail as it was past 6pm. The next morning, I spoke with an employee and expressed my concerns and was asked to bring the car back in. I left work early as I would not make it before 5pm before the shop closed for the day. Once arriving, I showed the owner my issues. He had not repaired a dent in the door not removed the scuff marks. He stated he only agreed to remove the scuff marks and then removed the remaining with a cloth. I showed him the white paint powder on the dash and passenger door inside the car and he stated they should have been wiped down. I showed him the hood of my car that was replaced that was not even with the rest of the car. He blamed it on a rubber piece, not his work. I showed him white paint on the black trimming on my window and he stated "I can get that off" and proceeded to remove it with a blade. I expressed I should not have had to bring the car back for these issues and the owner stated he seen no problem with having to bring the car back. I live 45 minutes away from his shop. When I opened my trunk and asked why they did not remove my babies stroller to paint as it was not covered it white powder residue, his employee stated "most people take that stuff out. We can air spray it off for you." When asked why they didn't remove it, they stated they didn't have room to put it anywhere and it was just powder. I also showed the owner that my emblem on my replaced trunk was coming off and he stated "its from the heat."Desired Settlement: I would like for this business to learn to accept when it has made an error or mistake and not blame the customer for bringing the issues up. Also, do better work for the money being given. Doing "ok" work should not be acceptable for a business. Also, if there are issues with items being left in the vehicle, have the decency to contact the owner and attempt to resolve the issue rather than ruining there items.
